UPDATE on the white puppy in my last post:
i understand that he was bought late in the day, yesterday to a sweet older gent!! i was SOOOOOOOO HAPPY to hear that! i am certain that those other puppies will find homes too but i had talked with DH about bringing that one here. :) that is about the LAST thing we need right now but he considered it for Coco! so i was relieved that we didn't have to cross that bridge! hehe ANYWAYS, i hope you are ready to see some beads that we got yesterday! the photos are not the best and i really don't understand when i seem to do the same thing for the ones that got clear! (shrugs shoulders) But this is one of the glass beads:
one of the painted beads:
a heart glass bead that gives the look of a gemstone:
a swirl on a barrel shaped glass bead:
and some that DH thinks are ceramic!
in this green batch (and that was another BONUS, that they were all color sorted!!) has a few ACTUAL gemstones, like aventurine! DOUBLE BONUS! hehe
one of the abalone beads:
some of the silver ones:
Three thread and one wire spools included!
AND some kind of cripper tool too but i didn't get it in any of the shots!
i was sooooooooooo GLAD that when we went through it, even DH thought it was a deal!! He has gone into Walmart with me and check prices of those little packages of beads, so he knew! :)
i have also been taking photos of the blooms in this area, i hope you enjoy them! we sure do, since the desert is sooooooooooooooo brown! lol :)
i don't know the names making these GREAT for any Wordless Wednesdays that i see on so many FUN blogs! lol but i will share them now! i CAN tell you that these first few photos were taken at our local swapmeet!
some very dainty & little flowers.
some very tall ones.
some very closed looking or tubular.
Just look at ALL these getting ready to bloom!!
some on trees!
Now this one i KNOW to be a Joshua Tree! one day i really should do a post on them alone they are SOOOOOOOOOO unique and interesting!
Again, these next two from the swapmeet. this one is a small ecalyptus plant.
And this one is a taller ecalyptus tree!
such BEAUTY can be found in this desert, it is AMAZING the things that grow here! i do have more to share and it will give me a reason to blog tomorrow! so i hope you come back then and share another visit! :) Thank You for sharing this time!! Have a safe & WONDERFUL holiday!! HUGS!

Happy Memorial Day ..hope you have a great one..I love your beads..man you really can find some "Finds" about 20 years ago when beading on your clothes was in the "In Thing" I beaded a big flower of the leg of a pair of elephant leg jeans..took me forever, the beads were little tiny flat ones..lots of colors..by the time I got it all done it was out of style..ROFL..I just threw them away when I moved here last year..
Oh the little puppy was adorable..really hard to turn down but glad you didn't have to make the decesion..
OH MY OH MY the beads you got!!! I knew it was a real deal but now I am thinking it was a fantastic steal!!! I am drooling over those beads! LOL!
We have the same trees here! But not the Joshua tree. But the others sort of grow here (just not very tall).
