Remember seeing that snake who tried to attack this bird nest, just this past Sunday?
The above photo was taken the night they learned to fly, an hour or two before they left! CUTE, huh?
well, i am soooooooooo GLAD to say that the THREE babies, that we saved that day, all flew from the nest yesterday late afternoon! They are ALL still hanging close by, either on the porch or by the porch, and ADORABLE!! ;)
here is a photo of one of the parents, which tells me it was some kind of Flycatcher bird!! very WELCOMED here! lol
Now this morning, before breakfast, just after we took DS to work, we went to another TLC sale (Tender Loving Care, a program that helps the poor with profits of selling donated items). We can almost always find something really nice and even if we don't, it's a GREAT way to donate anyways! :) WELLL, this morning, just AS we were getting out of our car to let the shopping begin (hehe) i see a coyote running across this highway that is always mad with traffic!
After it makes it safely over, i take this pic and it decides to go back across and came back over yet again!!
well, it did this a couple more times until we realized, on the other side is a PUP!!! she is trying to get her pup to follow her across the big, bad highway and it wants NOTHING to do with it and starts headed the OPPOSITE direction from the highway! LOL
The mother makes it across YET AGAIN, safely to her pup and follows it for awhile before she has had enough and picks it up in her mouth and made it ACROSS just ONE more time! lol
i was so nervous as i worried about her safety and to be honest, it was a relief when she was happy AND safe! lol
So we shop a bit in this parking lot (@TLC) and as i am paying for a couple of sweaters, i hear this clip clop clip clop, behind me, i turn and this is what i saw!
TOO COOL! :) sometimes i truly LOVE living in the desert! :) All THIS (the coyote and cowboy) took place in the same parking lot, of all places, RIGHT IN TOWN! lol
We eventually made it to the swapmeet and yep we got a few deals too! Saw A LOT of other puppies there also! i hope you pop on by tomorrow to see the goodies and critters! hehe i sure look forward to your visits! HUGS! Have an AWESOME weekend! :)

Oh goodness, you sure do see alot in your town. I would have been in the car with the door locked while that coyote was running back and forth. LOL! I am a serious city girl!
Shirley, I was gettin' into a sweat there with the exciting coyote story!!! Worrying that the poor mommy coyote wouldn't get across safely! Better than a movie! I can't believe you got pictures of it. I know coyotes are hated by some, but I think they are just trying to live.
So glad the birdies are now "on their own" and not the target of a big ol' snake anymore!
Now I'm waiting for you to post the DEALS you got at the TLC sale!!!
How great that the baby birds have left the nest! What an interesting place you live. Looks like there's never a dull moment! laurie
