Bargains and a couple of layouts!

Good evening! This weekend for us was about 10 degrees cooler than last week. Last week our pool got up to 80 degrees and still felt a bit chilly, today it's only 70!! BRrrrrrrrrrr
i hope your weekend has been everything you wanted it to be!! ;)
i see that you are back to see more bargains! YAY!! :) Then we'll get right to it!
i found this crystal, 2piece egg for just TWO dollars!

this anklet/bracelet was only a dollar! not sure if you can see it around my big ankel or not!

These FUN things, we think may be for snow but have NOT a CLUE! lol we bought them for the pool for just a buck each!

i also found some raw apache tears but i am NOT sure yet what those brown square rocks are! YAYY! i get to do research!! hehe :)

This little lot is the first of a FIVE dollar lot! :) they are a cute necklace, an owl pendant (without a chain) and another COOL rock with a pewter animal glued to it. i think the rock is pyrite or fool's gold! ;)

and the other thing that was in this FIVE dollar lot is this AWESOME glass duck! it's filled with tiny rock pieces and has NO way to get them out, no kind of plug or anything! i think this is just too CUTE! But then, i AM a rock NUT! hehe :D

This little Halloween bear (wearing his ghost costume) was on a table marked free! :)

to finish out the day, we stopped at this one vendor that we have been buying from every week that he and his wife are there. this week, we bought a few of these AWESOME magnifier stands for just 50 cents a piece!!

And before we left his area, i saw this teapot and was almost afraid to ask what he wanted for it. Turns out, they were only asking THREE dollars!!! LOL WOOHOO!!

And JUST before we walked away, he hands me this little musical girl and says, "this is a gift from us to you, for being so nice!" i was FLOORED! :)

i haven't heard the tune she plays all the way thru but she sure makes some PRETTY notes! heehee
yea, she doesn't work too well but i still LOVE It! she looks like she might be from the 50's but i really am not sure! not that it matters at all! :)

Bargains & tut link

Hi! Can you believe it's Saturday already again!? And the end of another month too! Where does the time go?
Well, we hit that swapmeet again! hehe of course we got some bargains! Ready? well, i'm not! hehe
First i wanted to share just a couple of COOL things i saw...
isn't this little stool too silly cute?!! i didn't ask how much they wanted, i just took a picture! lol

OH MY GOODNESS! i DID ask about these little cuties!! Five hundred for the male and six for the female. baby maltese!!! :)

oh my goodness they were the softest i have EVER felt! S-W-E-E-T!!!
ok, now that i got THAT out of my system, i think i can go on! lol
This chick and hen planter, was only two bucks! And now i have a reason to get MORE plants!! LOL

i only have a few, but they won't fill this planter. heck, our local nursery sells little pots of cactus or chicks and hens (succulents) for 75 cents!! Good price!! i got these a few weeks back.

These headbands are the first part of a ten dollar lot. i like the one but the other, those jewels stones GOTTA go! lol

bag of jewelry turned out to MOSTLY be single earrings that we plan to take apart for pieces to make something else! hehe but we did find some CUTE pieces i will show later! 2nd in lot for ten bucks.

i also wanted to show the CUTE jewelry pieces that were in that bag full of single earrings.

Sunday bargains, a CRAZY world, new site & layout!

Hi! i hope this day finds you well! i apologize for not being here yesterday but i was yet again, locked out of my computer use! (sigh!) you see, we have a download limit (yes, we pay for it! crazy, i KNOW!) and when we go over that limit, the internet connection is worse than dial up! and with three of us using this internet, it happened TWICE in a week, now! (big sigh!!) oh well, i am back now and have some Sunday bargains to show! WOOHOO! hehe :)
the weekend did not pass by without BOOKS! lol

And since it was a holiday weekend, here in the States, there were not too many vendors there, on Sunday, but i did find this! now i may be getting tacky in my old age but i really like this bracelet!!

This opal ring was a deal at a buck!! lol and i knew i had gotten one just like it before and when i got home, i did find the other ring and they ARE identical! well not exactly identical, since one has a jeweler's mark and the other doesn't! lol i still think it soo PRETTY! :)

this neckalce with, i think it's a shark tooth, maybe, and some kind of onyx gold thingy, & a cheap ring was all only a buck! :)

And finally, we finally squared away with the couple who have Cinnamon. The lady of the couple called me over and showed me some more rocks she found at her place and one of them was this turquoise stone. well, she was going to get it priced but DH said "why don't we just call it even if she could have that stone!" lol i wasn't all for it but she was and here it is! :)

i LOVE it! but i don't really know if it is dyed or not! guess i will eventually find out! hee hee
Anyway, like i said there weren't too many vendors that day! But before i go, i want to share a few more things! WOOHOO! lol
first is this silly photo. one day when DH and i went to Walmart, we saw this: Can you see it?

Yep! it's not bad enough that someone shrink wrapped a car but they included a shopping cart in that wrap!!! LOL why on earth ANYONE would do that, i have no clue but they you have it just the same! lol it's a crazy world! lol

Memorial Celebration & more desert blooms

HAPPY Memorial day! a big THANK YOU to all those who serve our country!! HUGS! :)
i hope you are having a GREAT day, filled with LOTS of yummy foods and parades!
we are having a quiet one at home. Saturday was our little parade and celebration. we went to Grubstakes day and hoped to pan for gold but by the time we got there, they had left already.
not really sure why either, i mean, i know it was windy as all heck but i would think gold miners could handle it! (shrugs shoulders) here are some photos from our little celebration!
this is the EXPENSIVE food stand.

as we are heading in, we already passed the soft ball game that was going on.

this jacuzzi/pool stand was the most popular! lol

a belly dance stand, had BEAUTIFUL coin scarves like i got a few weeks ago, their 'bargain price' was 2 for $25.00!! we got 2 for $10. at the swapmeet! hehe

check out this sad little dunk tank! lol it didn't even work, as we stood there, we saw the guy hit the target TWICE and nothing happened, so some little boy wandered over to the target and pushed it!! LOL my DS thinks it's the same dunk tank that Walmart uses, he remembers being in it!! i would have LOVEd to see THAT! lol

i am not sure if you can see the one stand in the background, it's a tropical/luau stand and all these little grass skirts were about to fly away they were blowing in the wind so hard!

of course there was a local band there too!

As we left the park, we saw this little ranger car and i just had to take a picture of it!
Just compare the size to the picnic table next to it! LOL

Sad that our celebrations have dwindled down to mostly fun for little kids. but there you have it! :)
