Desert skies and a new year!

good morning! we started putting much of the Christmas dishes away and will be following up with the rest of the decorations probably next week. we usually take down the decorations, the first weekend of the new year but this year since the holiday falls pretty much on the weekend, we will leave them up a few days longer! i LOVE the decorations but am always ready when it's time to put them away. :)
anyways, i am back to share more photos from the day after Christmas! i hope you enjoy them!

i sure hope your Christmas was everything you wanted it to be! Ours was really WONDERFUL & quiet, at home.

It's been a few days but...

i am back! YAY!! i just took a few days off because this cold is still lingering... not any real effects except for the cough. ugh! :) but i am back with more bargain purchases!
like this jewelry, recently purchased from an estate sale. $3.50 total!

i found this flower from Hawaii for a dollar! :)

Santa head ornament, a quarter!!

i LA LA LOVE this chicken tiered baskets for $4.00!!

Have you ever heard of a garlic baker? i sure didn't! for the low price of a dollare, we now own one! hehe

i am always on the look out for stone pieces, like these birds.

this LOVELY platter was only $3.00! it's a Mikasa.

i got this fish pot from the swapmeet not too long ago and it was a real bargain at just $7.00!!! it's so big, but i LOVE it! lol

even the inside is painted!!

Finally i have this AWESOME windchime teapot!! a steal at $4.00!!

About every two minutes, the little motor that is under the lid, rotates the steel ring to make the chime sound so PRETTY! :)

Tomorrow is DH's birthday but i will be back before Christmas! HUGS!! Have an AWESOME evening!! :D

Bargains, bargains, bargains!

Good morning! we are still getting Christmas decorations up and around the house. we may be done by Christmas! LOL i even baked Sugar Cookies, last night! YUM!! :)
But for now, it's BARGAINS! WOHOO!
We found this bowl for just fifty cents!

i believe these two birds were fifty cents total too! Sorry for the blurriness.

This COOL bottle was only seventy five cents!!

We got these HUGE floor pillows for a buck each!

This BEAUTY was only $2.00! She is now in my bathroom! :)

this AWESOME bowl was only $3.00 and came with a gold stand AND matching serving spoon!!

These two AWESOME mugs were $7.00 total (five each if bought singly).

So PRETTY!

Santa cookie jar was only $3.00!! And is now FILLED with chocolate chip cookies! hehe

This glass bowl was UNBELIEVABLY only 50 cents!!

This Santa is ALL paper! i think i paid 75 cents for him!

This little tree was a couple of bucks.

That's it for the bargains at this point cause i wanted to share some Thanksgiving before it gets too far away. hehe
This is the COOL fabric i used for the table cloth, this year. DH came across it in one of our totes. GOOD eye, John!! :D

These books too! the black notebook is a compilation of mines and mining articles from the 50's and 60's! it is sooooo much FUN to go through!
