New kit needs name lol

Hi again today! Gee, it's GREAT having something to share or say daily LOL
Well, today i have a kit, i wanted to dedicate it to OUR Lost Loves but am still not sure how it should be titled for August Treasure hunt at SDK! lol
You all did soo good with the puppy name (and i haven't forgotten you) i wanted to see if you could name this kit :D
And of course, if you do NOT go to SDK ( i don't know why you don't lol ) but i will share the link with you for the whole kit!! YAYYYY!!! How cool is that? i think it's a pretty good deal... a little name game AND freebie!! WOOHOOO!!!! lol

Oh What fun!! :D

I absolutely LOVE the names you came up with!!! lol And thank you so very much for playing along!!! Boy, they ALL fit her so well, but the name we came up with is Cinnamon!! lol Because of the spicy little brown on her LOL silly isnt it? oh but she has brought out the ugly in my boys! So now that it's time to make her a vet appointment for her puppy shots, we are also going to FINALLY make an appointment for Coco to get snipped! He and Charly have been having some ugly moments and thankfully no one has gotten hurt yet (sigh) With the hormornes, i dont even know Coco at times, its awful!! i can actually see a crazed look in his eyes at times, so now is the time to take care of it!
DH did not want to do that to his boys, but now he sees how it MUST be done lol funny how much they want to hold on to those things LOL
oh well, i will be back with a little something for those that played along with me, cuz i appreciate you so very much!!! HUGS :D oh and of course i will post more pix of the 'princess' LOL goodness i can hardly wait to find a little bow for her!!! LOL
No, she is NOT the first one i wanted to dress up lol but DH would not let me buy a little hat for Coco about a month ago .... let him TRY to stop me from doing up Cinnamon HAHAHAHAHA a little girl like her NEEDS a bow, dont you think so too?! lol
who am i kidding? only one look from him and i crumble, what can i say, i LOVE him :D
oh and a quick update on the pool... we got the new pump/filter yesterday and it's UP & RUNNING once again!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i already started to lose the tan i had worked on LOL need to get back out there!! This is the first tan i have had in YEARS and i missed it!

We had a tough time coming up for a name for this one and i can tell you she is a GIRL! lol i will also say that our dogs are all, so far named with "C", Chip, Cookie, Charly, Coco. Now i dont have alot of traffic here on my blog but i still thought it might be fun if you can think of the name we gave her! lol
in the meantime, i will be TRYING to complete some layouts and getting ready for August already! still got to find or make two more kits for those WONDERFULLY FUN treasure hunts but there sure isnt much time for anything again!
oh this little girl is TROUBLE for sure! she does NOT want to be in a small crate at nite, but my goodness she is a sweetheart!!! She will be 10 weeks old this Saturday.
This HAS to be the last dog in this house tho lol even though the other dogs all have accepted her, Coco will not leave her alone! He has become what Charly was when we broght Coco home LOL it is soo funny to see how attentive he is to her! i think he is curious since she is so small, but i KNOW he LOVEs her already!
she didnt want too much to do with anyone the first day (Sunday) but is coming around to each of them and boy does she seem to like Boo (the male black cat) and he DWARVES her LOL It is just too much fun having a dog SMALLER than my cat!!!
oh well, i am off to see what i can get done before she awakes again!

Posting for thursday and not too happy again :(

Since we got the pool, the filter's pump has not worked properly and today the electricity went out, yet again, around here and i could not get the pump going!
We already have one on the way, since we called the company a few weeks back about it but (sigh) tonight we cover it and i hope DH can get another, little better (not top of the line or anything close just a step up from the less than horsepower we are replacing with another of the same low quality) and then pray we can just keep up with the stinkin' costs of this all! We were JUST getting the chemicals balanced! (SIGH!)
oh well, more time for scrappin' again i suppose :)

i hope yesterday wasn't too bad for everyone, since it was a friday the 13th! :D
i made it ok!! was creating and am kind of proud of my latest called Gramma's Collection hehe, it doesn't look big in size but is over 100 megs. lol i am sure it will become a treasure hunt prize in the near future! hehe

July 10

Terrible Tuesday or maybe i should call it Thunderstorm Tuesday lol yep boom booms are rolling thru. so far it's not brought much rain to this part of the desert but a little rain would be real nice for our plants! Saves us the time of watering them lol
I watch a morning show out here and one of the weather chick has been out on maternity leave... well, this morning they showed her little angel that was born Fri. My goodness, it has been soo long since i held or smelled a newbie ( and i aint talking scrapbooking LOL) oh the newborn smell is heaven sent! and the little baby toes!! Can you tell i miss babies lol :) oh well, a BIG CONGRATS to her & her husband to their newest little addition!
It's been awhile since i made a kit and i have been having some ideas roll around but really havent played yet! Still doing my blog hopping and boy it sure is disappointing when they dont blog lol i know i know, that's why i am trying to come up with something to blog about more often :D i figure if i miss them, then someONE has to miss me!!! lol
oh well, a girl can dream, can't i ? lol

July 9 My ramblings

Well, i hope everyone had a safe long weekend, if you were lucky enough!! DH only had off on Wednesday, then the normal Sat. & Sun off, and he's back to work today again! No long weekend for us lol.
DS is starting to plan his trip to visit a friend up north, next month... for his birthday, AGAIN! (sigh) oh well, that's only two birthdays,(he went last year too!) out of what will then be 23, that i miss, and that's still not too bad, HE IS growing up afterall, i should be expecting to NOT spend ALOT more birthdays with him, soon, i guess. oh the groans of parenting lol... i haven't shared a birthday with my older son, since he was 17 or 18,that's when he left for the service and ventured the world! Now he lives in NY, yes and me on the west coast lol thank goodness for Instant Messaging :D
as for DH's trip to chicago, well that has still been put on hold, it's amazing, just as he started to plan going, just how much stuff went on to keep him here, God must have been saying something to him and i am hoping he is listening... must be, cuz he has not gone yet lol... oh i pray the time is RIGHT soon tho! i am not sure who holds more pressure on their shoulders, till this stuff is HERE finally, him or me! i just know WE BOTH are not really looking forward to this and it would be AWESOME to have it be just once and done. He has been preparing me for the possibility of leaving some stuff behind in a much smaller storage bin & bill. i would really rather we just get it all, or if we have to leave stuff behind, i dont want to be worrying about more storage time, i would rather take it to the dump or something (sigh) 3-4 years of paying them is enough for me! But in this house, he rules the roost, when all is said and discussed between us, the final decision is always his :)
i am still working between the two computers here lol but have pretty much resigned myself to DS's (darned vista crap lol) i am almost done organizing all the files i have collected too, sheesh what a project! i got a bit sidetracked from my duties, with that pool! Since it's the first time DH and i have ever had one that size, we are really enjoying it! Still trying to figure out the chemical balance but have kept it really pretty clean so far and am soo glad it's not too hard to keep balanced and clean! i was a bit worried about it filling up with bugs out here and even that has not been a problem! Surprisingly enough, the daytime is too hot for much anything to be out there and when the bugs do come out later, we put on the pool cover! i guess the people who told us about the finding dead bats in theirs, didnt use a cover, i don't know! lol We are still very careful to watch for snakes, scorpions, spiders and all that scary stuff on our way to & from the pool, which isn't too far from the back door! NNICE!!(doing my best Borat impression) lol
oh well, i guess i have gone on long enough! time to blog hop and see what you are all up to! lol

July 5 Thur.

Well, i hope everyone had a safe and WONDERFUL holiday!! oh, and i hope it's been cool where you are! Here, it's been no less than 105 outside for a couple of days now! Not good on top of our dry winter season. Time to be concerned with those wildfires that are so terrible out here, they can just about pop up anywhere cause things get so dry.
Well, yesterday DH & i stayed cool in the pool. it is just so refreshing and a slice of heaven here in the desert!
i took plenty of fireworks pix hoping i got something good i can work with to offer some great elements, keep your fingers crossed lol
well, i have to get those links hidden for my treasure hunts and watch the first Big Brother lol

Wow! it's hard to believe it is July already! Summer is officially upon us! Especially here in the high desert! lol i hope you are finding a WONDERFUL way to keep cool!

i have to find or make a small shadow box type frame for it, but i thought it came out pretty cool, no? lol i show 3 different angles, one from right, one from left and one looking straight on. i hope if you try one, you share it with me, too!!! i would LOVE to see what you do! :D
