oh, i thought this was a fun find for a dollar when i thought i would put an ice bucket in it so the bucket doesn't sweat all over a table but DH said he would not want to ruin it like that so now i have NO clue what it is for! lol i have those scarves in it for now! hehe
Photobucket
And of course, no weekend is complete without books! hehe These were just 50 cents each!!

These were a dollar each!

That's pretty much it for the bargain fun but as we go down the mountain into town, we pass this suit of armour that someone put up in front of their house! lol but it must stand 10 or 12 feet tall! it's HUGE! lol

This weekend, for our area, Starz was free. Between free movies and Twilight that my DS brought home, we sure had enough to watch!!! We managed to see all these movies this weekend!
Dead Man with Johnny Depp, a video we got at the swapmeet for just a dollar!
Time to Kill with Samuel L. Jackson was FANTASTIC!!!!
Vacancy is a creepy movie about a couple's car breaking down and finding themselves at a motel that makes snuff films... using the GUESTS!!
Ramsom with Mel Gibson was pretty good.
Untraceable was REALLY creepy about a guy who puts murders online and the more who watch, causes them to die faster!
of course, Twilight and you know, i really liked it!! :)
and finally 21 about card counting in Vegas.
Whew!! i sure didn't get much done this weekend! haha
i want to share with you a photo from last summer! Sure looking forward to blooms
again soon!!! So far, here, just the dandelions are out!
Photobucket
And before i go, i found another blog train !
This one isn't too long i may hop on this one! hehe

As always - too fun to pop by and see the finds. you know - you could put a plastic cover over your wine bucket ( but keep it just high enough to conceal it in th groovy little holder you found...) Just a thought. Are you Dish or Direct? I have been watching for free movie weekends. I like to record them on the DVR and watch them later. It has been a while.

You did watch some good flicks. I can't do creepy scary anymore... but I am always a sucker for great acting.

Have a great day!

I don't watch movies but it's good to hear about the plots so that I can keep up in this modern world!

I like your bargains, did you find those rocks when rock hunting? Sure are pretty lavender crystals!

Oh..another thing I can't wrap my brain around is..Why did someone put a suit of armor in front of their house???:)Your mission ..if you choose to accept it..is to find out and tell us all.hehe
I watched A Time to Kill too this week!! I have only seen it like..three or four times over the years.:) Can you tell I liked it?LOL I've seen Ransom too...a couple of times..very intense.:)Thanks for warning me about the others..although I hadn't planned on watching them.hehe

So wonderful you stopped by.. always a blast to mingle with other artists, but especially to hook up with them by creating alongside each other!

My dress is on the table..

OO, Twilight.. I was surprised how much I liked it! Looking now to pick up copy in next series. Admittedly, I'm a movie watcher much more than READER (sad admission, sigh) but.. perhaps Edward Cullen (sp?) will inspire a new addiction? lol

Happy day to you!

xo, monica :)
