Is it really Spring & Bargains! Where?

It really is SPRING!! YAY!! i sure hope it is FINALLY getting warmer where you are!
Just look at how green the desert is getting!

Even the mountains and hills have a green covering of grasses & scrub!

And sporadically you see patches of desert dandelions!


They are the first to bloom for us here since we don't have native crocus or other bulb flowers.
Although my bulbs from last year (potted, inside) is pushing up through the ground surface!
Don't you just LOVE Spring? oh it's soo refreshing and GREEN even here in the desert!
i walked around the property and didn't see much flowering just yet other than my lavendar.
It was another day in paradise, er, um, i mean, the swapmeet! and bargains were out there to be taken! and as you who know me, know i do my part in finding them! hehe
What weekend would be complete without a book or fifteen!?! lol

For the 50 cent price we could hardly pass these up! and there must have been, DH thinks about 130 boxes of books to root through!! it was almost overwhelming as to where to start! lol i asked, nonchalantly, where the biography section was! We ALL laughed out loud! LOL
OH MY GOODNESS! i am becoming a purse hound! LOL these were only a dollar each! Just look at that beaded one (bottom one on photo below)

here's a close up of it, showing just where i will have my hand when i use it, to cover the few beads that are missing! hehe the inside was flawless and the zipper works too! BARGAIN!

This silver one was cool, the one end of the strap handle is attached to the zipper head and moves with the zipper! Never saw that before!

Can you believe this little chicken i found that holds measuring spoons!?!

And this necklace was ONLY a buck!

i thought the clasp was soo fancy in itself! but who would do ALL that beading for just a dollar!?!

There's more but i will save that for tomorrow's post! hehe
i LOVE that place and am always AMAZED at the deals that can be found there!
Speaking of bargains, i hope you found some online with the links i shared! i sure did, i went to the 77 cent sale and bought some lace, spent a whole $1.54!! lol oh don't ya just LOVE a bargain!?! hehe
