Blog train news and more!

Popping in to say WOO WOO (chugga chugga chugga chugga) i hear that blog train a comin'!! You can catch it at this station and have some FUN!
DigiScrapShop Spring Blog Train
i also wanted to answer a question asked by Jazzy asked about the leafy plate set i have in my china hutch.
the back on one plate shows it is made by Murray in 1951, i bet he was Hull's brother in law! hehe

And while i am on the subject, here's my FIRST ever set of china. DH bought me a couple of years ago and the reason we bought the hutch.

i LOVE the pattern and the lady who sold it was soo happy that i was so THRILLED to get it. i don't think she was ready to sell it but may have had to so it seemed to mean alot to her that someone who appreciated and would LOVE the set was getting it. here is a photo of the back of the plate.

And last today, here is a photo of some real small dishes that i LOVE and got for a buck, awhile ago (can you see the dust from them just setting around? hehe)

Since DH has been laidoff, we have been moving quite a bit of stuff into the motorhome and using it for storage right now! it's always a struggle keeping DH's ebay stuff from stuff i want to store or send to my sister but it is ALWAYS interesting, as well! :) Thanks so much for visiting and i LOVE your comments and questions too! Have a FANTASTIC weekend! HUGS! :)

Morning Shirley!!
Soo sorry Dh was laid off.Bummers!!:( I will be praying for you both.
I LOVE your china too!! So glad that lady found some one to cherish it as much as she did.:)
I need to get some things sorted and taken to the thrift stores and junk yard.Maybe since Spring has finally arrived with some warmer weather..I will be able to get down to the garage and go through some of the things that aren't being used or necessary to keep.I can't use the cold weather as an excuse for much longer.LOL
Hope you enjoy your weekend!!

Hugs,
Valinda

I LOVE your china, and those little leaf dishes ROCK!!! One of these days I promise to get motivated and post some photos JUST for you. Your blogs always remind me of the really cool stuff I have come across in my journey. I miss the Friday "Show& Tell" Mrs. Miles used to post. Perhaps better weather will bring it back. I love all the showing and telling you do on you site. It is why I keep coming back. Thanks for being a ray of sunshine in my day!

Hugs,

eila
