Sculptures at a picnic

Good afternoon! i hope your day is going GREAT! it was a bit breezy up here on the mountain but nice when we went downtown to the doctor's office. i went thinking i had a side effect from one of the pills i am taking but it turns out to be another muscle injury!!! the doctor was going to give me shot and i opted for the pills, not that i need yet MORE pills to take!! hehe
Anyways, enough on that, i have some really COOL photos to share with you, from the picnic we went to on Sunday. i was soo thoroughly impressed with this Rock Hound Artist's home, inside & out!! but i have a few outside shots to share!
As we walked up his drive, we were greeted with an AWESOME rock wall! another wall that has EVERYTHING you can imagine, in it!!

WOW!~

I think my very favorite of all is the sculpture of the Century Plant! But it sure would be neat to have some of those sculptures he has on his porch wall up on our fence!!!

Gosh, seeing that reminded me of how in Tucson, we just used the out-of-doors for storage and work, too. It was like having a much bigger house!

Hi Shirley,

I got your SWEET, THOUGHTFUL prezzie in the mail! Its sitting in a place of honour in our house now, and I've blogged a BIG HUGE THANK YOU as well. Words can't thank you enough.

LOVE the sculpture - you certainly squeeze the best and most interesting bits out of where you live! Thank you for sharing!

I'm enjoying learning about all the different types of rocks via your site too - one of my brothers likes to 'hound' too - its amazing what some rocks look like, there are so many.

Hope you have a super weekend,
Love, Barb

Thanks for sharing these sculptures. They are so great. Since I am not at all artistic, I am always impressed by the artwork of others. Great post. laurie
