local National Park

Good evening! i hope this night finds you well! :) i am here to share with you, some photos taken at the Joshua Tree National Park!
this is just some of the BEAUTY of the mountains and Joshua Trees!
Photobucket
here too, althought some people just don't see it.
Photobucket
this was taken at a spot called Quail Springs. just look at how big those boulders are!
Photobucket
Right now, it is the off season for most activities done with the Park Rangers, but this is one of the spots where they will teach you rock-climbing!
Photobucket
That's what this sign is telling us... how the Rangers will teach you safely!
Photobucket
Check out the size of this boulder!!
Photobucket
Here is another place where, in the Fall, Spring and Winter, the Rangers will teach safe Rock Climbing!
Photobucket
i just LOVE the view!
Photobucket
the arrows, in this photo, show where the sign is indicating the ACTUAL San Andreas Fault Line!!!
Photobucket
and from there, we trek higher still!!
Photobucket
Out there is Coachella Valley!
Photobucket
this sign shows where Palm Springs is located and other particulars of the Valley.
Photobucket
just me! :)
Photobucket
this photo asks "what is wrong with this view?" the answer is haze, which is from pollutions!
Photobucket
but it's still quite a STUNNING view!
Photobucket
my sweetie sure liked it!!
Photobucket
Then a couple from Los Angeles, asked us to take their picture and offered to take ours too! :)
Photobucket
WAYYYYYYYYyy down there is the parking lot and our Explorer!! hehe
Photobucket
Once i am down, of course, i take a photo showing all the way UP! lol
Photobucket
And last but not least, tonight, check out this rock and how it is PERFECTLY balanced!!
Photobucket
i have a few more to share with you, tomorrow so i hope you stop by! Thank you so VERY much for sharing this time together!! HUGS!! i will see you in the morn! ;)

Honey they could not pay me to try to climb on a big rock like that. I would be terrified. I don't know why but I have a fear of heights. My husband used to tease me by putting me up on a chair. I'd just freeze there until he would lift me down! Hee hee silly ain't it?

Oh, I love that picture of you! and the one of you and yr hubby, too!!!

I hope it isn't as hot there as it is here, Shirley! We are just going to hunker down until this heat breaks!!!

Such great photos. They make me thirsty!

Thanks for being SO kind and visiting not only my blog, but the blogs of those I've been featuring this week and leaving comments.

(Shhh. I'm not really back from vacation yet, ok, sort of, we got in last night, but I'm working it/taking a blog break through the weekend. Our little secret.)
