tube of raw garnet
This cool stone that has three places of a brownish gem. We aren't sure what it is yet.
And this lighted BEAUTY!
It's got a hole drilled in it for placing a candle!!
Oh and we also ALL went outside at 8:12 pm to see the space station fly over!! that was pretty COOL too! :)
Our next trip is planned for Opal Mountain and i am soo excited! You know i will keep you posted!! :)
Want to see something COOL my DH did with our hanging planter pots?
See what he used? You know those stacked wire baskets that are so popular in kitchens? He took one apart and put a pot in it and made a hanging planter pot! lol He's so CLEVER!!
Here are some more of our newly planted (with seeds) gardens! the lavendar is coming back nicely.
All these pots were seeded. (crossing our fingers for LOVELY blooms!)
see the grapevine is making a comeback there in the background of the photo below!
And finally showing the garden where the lavendar grows.
Thank you so much for visiting and for leaving such SWEET comments too!! :) HUGS!! Have an AWESOME evening!! :)

Hi Shirley,
Sorry I have not popped by this week. I am buried in projects. I do love reading about your rocks. I am looking forward to some green grass... I can't really plant flowers - the deer eat everything. We will have some lovely wild flowers @ June. It isn't alot, but I will take it.
Have a great day!
... and a great weekend!
eila
Shirley do you have good water out there? Our water is piped in and it really hurts the poor plants. So not much can be grown when it doesn't rain enough to catch the water in big trashcans and use it instead.
I just love lavender, just crazy for it!
This OPAL Mountain sounds so exciting!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE opals!!!
Looks like you have some back yard out there!! It´s unbelievable, the view you have. Awesome!
Hope your flowers bloom!
Hi Shirley!
LOVE all your planters and especially the one that your sweetie fixed up for you. What a terrific idea!!! I can't wait to see everything in bloom. Of has been way too long of a winter!
The rocks are so cool. Will you keep the garnets just to look at or are you going to make something with them? I LOVE the one for the candle - what a great idea!
Have a great weekend!
