Clothing deals & a layout

I'm back! :) i did get some pictures of the skirts but now realize i need more SKIRT hangers! lol The next few items are what i bought for a dollar and had wrapped in the tissue paper, not usually done at the swapmeet! LOL
This maxi (is that word still used?) soo light and summery straight skirt, with a zipper in the back.

This little summer pull on.

This little summer sweater was a bonus with a summer shirt underneath!! and YES for a buck!! Unheard of, i know!!

THEN i got a few skirts (and one dress) from the couple that Cinnamon (pomeranian dog) went to live with, since they still owe money for her, we took this off the bill.

And then before we left the swapmeet on Sunday (which we never stay long, there are hardly any vendors on Sundays, mostly just the regulars) the same lady came up asking if i want these denim skirts... three colors, all mid length.

Oh and before i forget, here are the leopard shades for just 50 cents!

i have more dresses & tops that i've bought over the years from the swapmeet. i don't usually look thru piles or boxes of clothes, but do like checking out things on a rack or table, and ONLY buy when it's a deal! :)
i was also asked to share a photo of my front yard anchor. Yes, you heard me! lol we have an anchor in our desert yard! it was here when we moved in and the neighbor told us he remembers when someone tried to hook it up to their car and take it, dragging behind them!! lol needless to say, they didn't get very far as it dug its way deep into the sand!!! lol somehow they got it back off the road
and into the yard. And so there it sits!

Now we ALMOST had a swell deal with getting a beat up boat with holes and setting it by the anchor, i thought would have looked so cool, but that never yet came to fruition! hard to even THINK about BUYING a boat to put there! lol But it sure would look CUTE with a boat, holes and all!! it would look shipwrecked maybe, well that was my idea anyway! lol i think i have to someday see if the boat is still there, cause i know the property was sold and the boat never made it here before that happened. But there is a real good possibility that its still there! lol
heck, out here in the desert, there is ALWAYS hope for another beat up canoe or something.
there are SOOOOOOOOOOOO many properties with old cars, trailers, trucks, boats, just about anything you can think of! lol
Well, i have rambled on enough now, i have to get this posted so DS can WOW again! i am getting the look! LOL Big HUGS to you and thank you so much for visiting!! You know i will see YOU in the morning!! :)
leaving you with another layout i got done!! i am determined to play with all the AWESOME wordart & kits that i get from so many AWESOME designers out there!!

I really love that layout. I make my little graphics, but I can't get the hang of scrapbooking! I really admire your talent!

You got some great deals on the clothes. Those denim skirts especially caught my eye and that beaded dress!

The ANCHOR in the desert just cracks me up. I love your idea of putting a boat next to it!

Love all the great buys... I just came across my favorite jean jackets yesterday... (I have 2). And that animal print pull over would be perfect with the shades and the first bluejean skirt - SOOO Susan Surandon LOL.

Thanks for sharing, and I am hoppy to see some layouts!

hugs!
