First of all, Shirley, THANK YOU for the award. The thought is awesome and I thank you and MUAH, here's a kiss on the cheek, but I'm going to confess I won't pass it on haha. I just wore my passer on out with all the last awards. I hope you will not think less of me. I did mention you on my blog tho, that count?
OK, now... your swap meet treasures. They are all lovely but...
The woodpecker makes me CRY. My grandmother used to have that exact one. It sat on her table all the years we were growing up. We all played with it, it was a conversation piece. It disappeared when she died. If there is one thing that reminds me of my Grandma, its this. Thank you for showing it to us. I hope you will have treasured memories with yours too.
That woodpecker is SO cute, and that bowl made from a record is great! You got some real treasures and what bargains they were! I want to go to that swap meet! laurie

That is great, the record bowl I acually have a blog posting on making them from last year! So much fun to do at home with some old records, just make sure if your going to put chips & food in them to use a paper liner to keep food safe!
