what a day!

well after my hospital scare, we both had quick smoking COLD turkey, as they say. tho it wasn't easy, we did it... til today... over a week and one day breaks the both of us!! started this morning, i go to do my hunger clicks and cant connect. i try several sites thinking one might be overloaded and nothing loads and it takes forever to get these pages to not load fully at all. it boils down to 3 or 4 calls which took about 2 hours each time, not getting much cooperation and having to tell them no, this is NOT acceptable & at least three times we were connected to higher level tech, after much debating with lower techs to do so. after 12 hrs i still cannot connect to most sites and took a long time to get in to blog. so now i will just say HUGHNET internet service is HORRIBLE! pass the word! they dont offer much help and arent easy to deal with. best they can offer is a small discount for 3 months along with the shitty service!! so then hubby goes off to get son from work & car breaks down. had to have it towed to house, dont know what's wrong and havent the money to fix it anyway. got an acquaintance to take son to work tomorrow but just what are we suppose to do? God has NEVER put us thru more than we can handle but this IS!!!! my nerves are so shot that between, what did they say, slight dehydration caused my breathing faster which caused a muscle spasm which scared me into paralysis for 4 hours. yea, and this helps!!!
we want so badly to move and have for over 3 years now, just AS we started looking at houses, hubby lost his job. i honestly dont know how much more i can hold on.

how have you been?

since no one comments anymore i thought i would ask how you are doing? :) me not so well. was taken to hospital by ambulance, monday evening & was in ER til 6am tuesday morn. (sigh) they werent quite sure what happened but i thought i was having another heart attack but this time after the attack, i couldnt move for 4 hours, couldnt even keep my eyes open. really scared me. so i followed up with my doctor and it turns out they believe that i am about a quart low on water. can you friggin believe it, dehydration??? i am still suffering a bit but drinking as much as i can. we are planning on getting out of the desert now, since this is the third time i was in hospital for the same thing. only thing, the other two times, it was not at all the same to deal with this. very strange, but this time really really scared me. i thought i had a stroke, since i couldnt move for 4 stinking hours. so now i have to take it ez and drink drink drink so i can stop feeling weak and shaky.
these past 3 yrs for me have not been my best but i keep on keeping on, with God's blessings. just thought i would keep anyone who still visits, posted & updated on what's going on here. love & miss you all & hope to be back on track soon. but a little prayers from my friends couldnt hurt. :) much love & hugs!

to say Happy June! i sure hope your weather is better than ours! lol we have had about 3 weeks of high winds with gusts up to 60mph, crazy! it was hotter in NY yesterday than it was here in the desert!! can you believe that? it's been nuts with Mother Nature, all over! earthquakes, flooding, tsunamies, volcanoes, it's all been hitting, everywhere! frightening. we haven't even begun to put the pool up that's how cool the air has been here, even tho' it's hit at least 80 degrees. very very strange weather. i would love to hear what's been going on in your neck of the woods. :) have an awesome day & thanx so much for visiting! hugs

my blog is back! i woke this friday the 13th and there was no blog! :( now it works and there is no twitter! lol over capacity i suppose! weird when it happens to ya while IN twitter tho...kinda just booted me. oh well, we are doing good here. still adjusting meds so i can be of some use during the day. :)

dollhouse pix, old car & even a tip!

well i am ready to post again and apologize for the delay, but am adjusting my meds so i am, at least, SOMEWHAT functional during the day. thank you for all the sweet comments and continued support! HUGS..ok now onto the post. hehe
since i have been working on cards, my hubby finds himself wanting to continue with dollhousing (is that a word? lol) & miniatures. so on one of his yard sale excursions, he came upon this mess real cheap.

looks real cute but the other side which should be a 'front' is just a solid wood backing. strange since they did such an elaborate job on the rest. but anyways, here are more pix of HIS newest project. (lol i am so proud that he wants to do this & am sure i will pop in & help where i can becuz it's just fun)

so hubby & i see ALOT of potential for a Victorian house. we already have a few pieces to start filling in that era so he has already ripped out the carpets & started. God Bless him!
as for me and my cards. well i am still at play with making them. hubby took them to the swapmeet twice and sold one so far. this one!

so i took the others and started to make them better, adding glitter or such. pix to follow soon, i promise. :)
here comes the TIP:
oh and while i am on the subject, for those of you who get sticky scissors from cutting tape or puffy tape stuff, best & easy way to clean the blades is to apply finger nail polish remover. it takes away the tackiness & scissors like new again!

On a last note, hubby took me out to breakfast yesterday before my 8am dr appt & we saw this BEAUTY.

it's '28 or '29 Model A ford and GORGEOUS! we talk to the owner now & then and he has at least 3 or 4 (that we KNOW of) older BEAUTIES like this different years & models but all beautiful!
