we have this family of very little young ones.

I love Gambel's quail!!! It's like they are quicksilver, they just "flow" in a bunch, so adorable. What precious creatures!!!
Thank you for sharing the photos, I miss them from my Tucson days, we do have a VERY few here, and I have seen them on the college campus at the edge, they look like wind-up toys LOL...
Wow look at those quails . They are a delicacy here and an endangered species. I have never had them, but my mom says they really taste good.
