here we go again
went back to doc as walk in, hoping he can figure out why my chest muscle (into my armpit which gets swollen). he gives a pain killer shot & some new perscripts & sends me off to the er to get a circulatory test. i go, & tell them, they do chest xrays, cat scan, urine & blood work & then SIX hrs. later they are trying to get ahold of my heart doc to have me admitted to a REAL hospital (larger facility, as they put it) for more testing with cardiologist & neurologist. i said NO! i went to the doc this morning, expecting a few tests & am NOt prepared for all this. and on top of it all, i honestly dont see HOW i could get admitted, with all the needle holes they put in me. they even 'prepped' me for an iv which i never got!! pic to follow when i can sit long enough at my own computer since son's old laptop isnt connected to the network of the other computers in the house. so i go to pick up my meds & of course one is on hold cuz im on medical & they wouldnt even let hubby PAY for a few!!! so i came home in pain & completely DONE!! Lord, i honestly cannot take anymore!! this is another day of being bed bound & miserable & doped up but still in pain & they STILL dont know why my arm goes to sleep like a nerve is being pinched off when its swollen or not! :( docs at er want me to see heart doc cuz i have had two stent implants, one from '99 & one from 2001 and the 'shelf life' of them are typically 5-10 yrs. and he wants me to see a neurologist for whatever reasons. i will follow up but just dont to go thru more tests & waiting for results! i know it has to be done & will. Lord be with me, im so done!

WOW...you have really been through the ringer.:( One question....have you done anything lately that could have pulled your shoulder or ribs out? I know my Dad was in real bad pain until my Mom convinced him to go to a Chiropractor and he told my Dad that his ribs were out.He adjusted them and the pain eased up tremendously.Your arm going numb could be from that too...but it can't hurt to be sure it isn't your heart though.:) I know you have to be soo frustrated.:( I had my fingers and thumb go numb for a while and a nerve was pinched.I had to get several adjustments ..but it finally eased up and the pain left my fingers and thumb and the feeling came back.YAY!:) My back went out one time and I was bedridden for a week or so.The ER doc only gave me pain pills and told me to lay down.At the end of a week..I still couldn't move.Jim convinced me to go to the Chiropractor and afterwards it was the first time I was able to actually stand up without severe pain.A couple more adjustments and I was up and moving around again.The Doctor's don't like Chiropractors..cause it keeps them from making all that HUGE amount of money they can get from surgeries.KWIM? I'm not saying you don't need surgery..but it would be worth a shot to try the Chiropractor first.:)
