Another new week

First and foremost, i really want to thank you ALL for your prayers...they MUST be helping because my faith is restoring, which i am surprised about and i actually feel some joy back in my heart. and YES i even started to pray again (mostly asking forgiveness). i cannot believe how badly i failed this spiritual test, but that is what makes me human, i suppose. (sheepish grin)
i had been working on my first kit, (in about 3 years, since before all my muscle and health issues started, doesn't feel that long but has been). And i started working on making physical cards before this last diagnosis, that really just felt like the rug being pulled out from under me, landing flat on my face, but slowly feeling like getting back into it all. yay.
here is a preview of the kit that i was working on... called New Year of Spring.
Photobucket
i surely couldn't do this without crediting:
Mrs. Miles for use of tat pieces & gold frame (now recolored)
Gunhild Storeide for use of stitches
Donna Wheway for use of ribbon curl
Carla Gibson for use of flowers (don't know website for her AWESOME creations anymore)
Atomic Cupcake for use of crinkle and color glass actions (link is where you can still find monthly freebie actions!)
font is Edwardian Script ITC
if you would like to use this kit, i can share it when done and all zipped up and uploaded. just let me know and again, THANK YOU for sharing your love and caring!! HUGS!

Good morning Ms. Shirley!

SO good to see you smiling this morning and feeling restored!

You have not failed sweet lady! We all have our weaknesses and it is the obstacles in our lives that put those weaknesses under a microscope from which we may continue to learn, grow and change.

Thank you SO much for sharing the progress of your first kit Shirley! I love the colors and I have to share with you that Atomic Cupcake's "crinkle" action has been amongst my faves for many years now. *wink*

I shall be looking forward to the release of *New Year of Spring* (great title) and shall be most honored to create a layout with it!

Have a GLORIOUS day lovely lady!

Love and hugs,
Linda :D

Soooo HAPPY to see this post my friend! You didn't fail the test. You passed..cause look where you are now.:)When we get knocked down..HE lifts us back up!!!You learned a great lesson..to turn TO Him and not AWAY from Him when bad things happen. It will get you through the rest of your days here on this crazy planet.LOL
LOVE your kit and can't wait to see the finished product.:)
I think card making is really kinda relaxing.Cept when I am stumped about what to do next.hehe I keep the card..etc on the dining table and stop every once in a while to add something.:)I was working on one before going to the Dentist yesterday and it actually kept my mind off of the appointment.Wish I could have taken it with me.LOL

Have a wonderful day my friend!!

Huge hugs,
Valinda

Hi Shirley,

Sorry it took me till the end of the day to make it over here, still going like a spinning top (yep, I'm even feeling dizzy the world is going to fast for me!!!)

It is SO good to know you're walking in Faith again - ah, my sweet friend we ALL falter now and then... step out on that stormy sea and its really scary out there! Its times like this when your friends get to rally about you.

I love you, I am so glad I can pray for you. I will NEVER give up on you.

I am thanking the Lord in advance for what He is going to do in your life this year.

I love that he has restored you to be creative again - thats awesome. I already posted on my blog today but I will put a link to you next blog post - so Monday at the latest.

Love, Barb

Gosh Shirley, like the girls have all said above me- you passed your test with flying colours!
I had no idea you were going through such a hard time (so sorry)and can totally understand the anger and hurt and frustration you went through. We've all been there at one time or another- it's how we move above it that counts ;-)
So glad that you have come out of it with your bright and cheerful outlook again and that your Faith is/has been restored.

Adding my prayers to the others too.
Sending HUGE hugs!
