What has been happening!?

Good morning! well, it is still morning here. hehe i sure have missed you.
Thank you so very much for sharing your earthquake experiences with me. it is amazing how many go through something so similar and yet live so far away. :)
is this summer FLYING by for you, too? It sure is here! We have been just keeping so busy. We recently closed in the porch to keep ALL desert critters OUTSIDE and no where near our front door! lol pictures will follow soon, they have been taken but not yet uploaded, as are soooooooooo many other things that are going on around here. i promise to get to them soon.
i do have some bargain photos uploaded and ready to share but i may not remember what i paid for the stuff by now. lol
i do know that we paid $8.00 for this cute wooden bench/storage unit and i LOVE it!

Here are a few items i picked up at a recent yard sale.

This lovely candle holder was $3.00. The last time we bought something like this from the swapmeet, we showed a glass vendor the bargain we bought and he turned around and offer us $35.00 for it and we RE-sold it, to him!! Don't ya just LOVE when that happens!? lol

This AWESOME jewelry box was only $4.00!

The vendor selling these necklaces, keeps dropping the price and they are now just $2.00 each!! One is garnet and the other labradorite which shines a vibrant blue when light hits it.

DH picked up this ring on one of the fridays he went yard sale-ing and i stayed home.
He paid only $2.00 for this LOVELY ring!

we did get a BARGAIN for these Brazilian crystals! Each one is flawles and BEAUTIFUL!

That's all i have uploaded so far but the dollhouse has three rooms that are almost completely done. Mostly i am waiting on doors and windows that DH will do. Right now he has been working on kitchen cabinets. and everything has been so much fun that we actually caught ourselves, this past weekend, standing back and just admiring how far we have come with our first dollhouse!! :) Thank you so very much for the uplifting compliments on our work! i really LOVE finding this to make and sharing them with you. :D

I really just can't pick my "favorite" bargain this time. There are just too many great ones. Of course the chia cat because I'm a crazy cat lady. But those crystals are amazing. The mini's in that clock will find good homes in the dollhouse I am sure!!!

I remember not too far back you had some unwelcome visitors -- that LONG LONG LONG snake!!! Hope he stays off the premises now that it's enclosed!!!
