About an hour an a half ago, i felt my first earthquake !
i was sitting at this computer, playing a game (since i don't get online much lately) and it felt like someone bumped into my chair... i said "what the heck was that?" and DS then realized it was still kind of rolling!! Then we turn on the BREAKING NEWS about it and all they talk about is THE BIG ONE... everyone knows it's coming!!! On top of the uneasy feeling of my first one, i sure didn't want to hear about the "big one coming" !! sheesh!
i know my older DS, who lives on the East Coast, recently felt one too!!! i knew it was inevitable, since for every coastline, there MUST be a fault line!
Still very scary feeling. i would LOVE to know if you ever felt one too!! Thanks so much for sharing this moment with me. Have a GREAT evening! HUGS!! :D

That is such a scary feeling! I have felt tremors, and it makes me feel so helpless. They are so sudden, and there is no time to even realize what is going on, much less to get somewhere safe. Hope you won't be having more of those. laurie
Oh Shirley, I have to tell you that I went through a pretty strong one, at work when I lived in the PNW, and it blew my mind. I'm not kidding. It totally blew my mind and gave me PTSD so bad that I MOVED rather than risk another one!!! I had no idea I was so frightened of them, having never experienced one. But the "rolling log" feeling under my feet and the NOISE coming from below the ground did something to my mind!!! I hope you are okay and don't get PTSD from it!!!
That must be so scary. Thank goodness you were safe.
I 've been through an earthquake where building fell flat and people were killed. Gor several months I felt the trauma

I haven't experienced an earthquake..although they told us we had one a few years back...I didn't feel it.I know it has to have been scary for you.:(
