Dendrite- A mineral crystallizing in another mineral in the form of a branching or treelike mark.

This is a COOL piece that DH found and when the club's Treasurer saw it, he almost dropped his jaw, it is so nice. lol it almost looks like part of a crystal geode.
Photobucket
Selenite-Gypsum in the form of colorless clear crystals.
Photobucket
These next stones, i believe are a variety of tuff-A rock composed of compacted volcanic ash varying in size from fine sand to coarse gravel.
Photobucket
more Selenite- a colourless glassy variety of gypsum
Photobucket
A nice variety.
Photobucket
some of the banded agates.
Photobucket
this is another piece of selenite i believe, it could be some of the ulexite we also found, i have to do more research on it. :)
Photobucket
The next few pieces are rhyolite-A fine-grained extrusive volcanic rock, similar to granite in composition and usually exhibiting flow lines
Photobucket

Photobucket
Another type of agate-A fine-grained, fibrous variety of chalcedony with colored bands or irregular clouding.
Photobucket
Volcanic rock.
Photobucket
i thought this next one might be onyx but i haven't yet found out for sure.
Photobucket
the next two photos are the same rock, which i believe to be a plum agate.
Photobucket
this almost looks like a crystal though.

I love the rocks! I can't believe the variety you found. The quartz one your husband found is nice enough for a museum piece!!!

In the group photo, that green rock, I wonder if it is malachite. It is a pretty green.

It is almost time for the swap meet and MORE BARGAINS!!!

Hi Shirley, nice collection of rocks that you have found! I know NOTHING about rocks and what is a good FIND for you. But they sure are pretty. Have missed seeing you every day and thought I would check up and see how you were doing.
