Here we go again!

i was at the dr. again and had THREE more shots straight into the back muscle that is STILL tight. No fun but at least this time i knew what i was in for when he said the "shots" word again. lol i laid so still and was so proud but still it scared me terribly, mentally! The pain is gone enough, at least, for now, so i can blog hop and visit a few of you who i miss so much!!!!
oh we also recently found out that while we had our router connected, our internet was hacked into and someone downloaded their crazy little hearts out... on My ACCOUNT!!! meaning they used up and exceeded my daily download limit and of course, WE suffered for the next 24 hours, with internet connection speeds worse than dial up!! (sigh) so until we have time to contact Linux and find out how to protect our internet, we disconnected the router and back to using one computer at a time again. that's rough when i am feeling better cuz my son and hubby both use the other one. Hubby sells (and buys of course lol) on ebay and DS plays some game online called World of War or something like that, simply known to me as WOW. lol But for now i can't use my puter near as much as i would like. hehe so they can work it out between the two of them, after they get home from work...usually by then i am resting my back again from whatever work i got done that day anyways. hehe
i cannot believe this summer has gone so fast!! didn't seem to fly by as i lay there with this back but here we are heading for september, sheesh!!
we did have another snake close to the house the other day, again... another red racer, harmless but still ugly to me!! lol i heard a cactus wren carrying on so loud so i went to see if i could see the commotion and lo and behold i found a snake in our TREE!!! lol i did get a picture of it and boy did that creep me out too!! Looking up a tree is not something i think of when i think of snakes!!!
red racer in tree
i didn't get a picture of the bird but it wasn't happy until the snake fell out of the tree and slithered away!! it was actually pretty cool, like i had my own personal snake alarm! lol Gotta LOVE nature! :D
well, now i am off to get some work done this morning before it gets too warm here! Thanks soooooooo very much for your visit and i hope you have a BEAUTIFUL day!! :D

Shirley,

I hope your pain becomes stable - it must be difficult to contend with it every day.

I agree, this summer has flown by FAR too fast. Seems like yesterday we were skating on the lake here.

I'd be a bit freaked at finding a snake in a tree too - and I'm looking forward to finding out what a cactus wren sounds like.

Thank you for sharing with us.

hugs,
Barb

Sorry you are having more shots, but glad it is helping relieve the pain! Eeek - but what a beauty your snake is :) No, I wouldnt look up in a tree either, they are supposed to be on the ground and under stuff, lol...Glad it was a good snake and left!

Hope you get your IE straightened out and they can figure out how to fix that router problem, if they can, if not, guess you get the puter during the day while John and ds are at work :)

Take care now and get better soon- summers almost over (I hope) and hope fall is a bit cooler, been a hot summer. Hugs from both of us to both of you!
