Summer's almost over

can you believe it's Sept. already? I sure cant. this summer went by fast for me, I guess, cuz I had surgery & Coco finally had surgery too. we didn't come close to the amount we needed but we finally got him on the mend. since we moved last year, we've been busy getting this place to our liking. hubby enclosing a porch area & me getting my craft room organized. BUT craft room is on hold til we get a roofer! yep we have a leak & it bubbled the paint :( of course, in the craft room where most of my stuff is paper lol. but we did put hummingbird feeders up and LOVE watching them along with the seed feeders we put out. I see quail almost daily & when you see those little chicks, you just cant help but smile. soo cute! it's really cool watching the male watch over his family. we don't have any cactus in the yard here (remembering our big old Saguaro Cactus) and we still are gonna plant lavender again, but we're getting there. we love the working fireplace & layout of the place & it just seems like everything is falling into place. feels like home :)
still waiting on my knee surgeries but got one scheduled soon. I hope you had a wonderful summer!

 so I've  been on the mend & feeling much better, thankfully! but now heading into knee surgeries, yep both! torn meniscuses but the right one is worse.

already May!

Wow how time flies! well, for me, my journey over two years of pain is my side is almost done! I got hernia surgery & all the tests done & I mean ALL ( I don't think I will encounter a new test for a long time) every time they tested, they saw nothing but my dr & surgeon both felt a lump! im in recovery now & mending well, thankfully! so I really haven't been crafting but still having fun with my nails

March already!

been rough going. lots of medical tests to find out what this pain in my side is. been going on over two yrs now and now we're heading for surgery. waiting on approval. they still aren't sure what it is but they'll go in, find out & fix it. then when that's all done, they want to fix both my knees torn meniscuses lol yep it's been a very good year so far :)
so I haven't been doing too much crafting but started having fun with nail painting. there's so much you can do now & it's fun and of course, easy.

and still my Coco needs surgery too but we cant make payments to the vet so we started a https://www.gofundme.com/3e5tfa43 and pray for any help. my boy has had this going on since oct last year. :(

'Tis the season

Almost Christmas!

First I thank you for visiting me still cuz I know posting has been so sporadic. ok now onto the post.
Christmas is quickly coming up and we are pulling out decorations, most for the first time since we moved to a bigger place.  in the other place I didn't really decorate for Thanksgiving but this year, lots got the chance to be displayed, here are just some :)

even tho it is the time to give it STILL hasn't been easy for us...more so for me, healthwise. not only do they want to operate on my knees to 'fix' my torn meniscuses AND I have so much pain from an old injury and think I'll need surgery to reduce the pains. it's been crazy with drs.
the van we were blessed with is now giving us trouble with not wanting to start AND our Coco still needs that bladder surgery. been over a month and not one dollar added toward helping us with the cost. so sad to think no one cares enough to donate to stop the dangers of blockage and aid in getting the surgery quicker since the vet wont take payments, which is absurd when talking about a $1500.00 possible bill and no less than $1200. hurts me thinking about him having so many stones, when hubby just went thru bladder stone removal about a year ago and I remember how he complained of the pains.

other that all that, im happy with how well we are still settling in here. still hear some bombing practice which is just unbelievable but somehow im able to tolerate it a bit better than when it shook the house & windows. im still crafting and even made a card for one of my drs that moved to Oregon lol. well I hope to get back before Christmas but in case I don't, I wish you all a safe and wonderful holiday season and if you just feel like sharing this link, I will appreciate it xo
