So much to share!

Good evening and HAPPY Mother's day to you! i have so much to show you this weekend, from the rock club swap and bargains from the swapmeet (my favorite place LOL) and visiting with new friends! But first we'll start at the swapmeet!
This WONDERFUL old cat door stop was $3.00!

This coin/charm was on the bottom, it says "Classic Critters copyright 1984 UDC". i never saw that before, have you!?

This little purse was a real steal at just a buck!! it's velvet embossed!

i cannot remember what we paid for this little toothpick holder, but i KNOW it was not more than a dollar!

this stone mushroom can stand on its own and is about 5 or 6 inches tall, for a dollar!!

This CUTE turkey bowl/dish is missing the spoon, was $2.00.

These items were a dollar each!

This CUTE summer dress & the next top was only a QUARTER each!

This little top is SOOOO cute with a droopy neckline, what is that called, cowlick neckline?

The next two tops were 50 cents each!

and this top is showing (or trying anyway to show) the back and how it has cool shapes cut out in it!

And OF COURSE, these two BOOKS (of ALL things lol) were a total of $5.00.

And finally a couple of FREE items!!


On top of going back to the swapmeet again today, i can hardly wait to share the rest of my weekend with you! i sure hope you had a GREAT weekend too! it was almost too hot, here in the desert. Today it was only 97 degrees! Yes, i think it's WAY too early for this kind of heat too!

Good morning!! :) This week has been FULL of wind advisories! Southern California has hit record breaking temperatures too! it was 101 degrees in Santa Barbara yesterday! WAYYY above normal temperatures! And now there has been a fire burning, again, for DAYS!! i really don't like having a SEASON for fire! But things get soo very dry out here, there is one EVERY year!!
On Tuesday it was 83 here in my little town AND then Thursday it was TEN degrees warmer!! That's just crazy! it's going to be HOT through the weekend!! what happened to SPRING?! where did it go?! lol
Well, onto BETTER things! :)

Last of the weekend deals and a new Mine dig!

OH how i LOVE your comments and thank you so very much for visiting!!! I am back to share the rest of the bargains we found this past weekend! :) Are ya ready!?! OK!!
When we went back to the swapmeet on Sunday, one of the vendors was unloading box after box, MOST of them, just filled with GOODIES! The following is what we got for $10.00!
This WONDERFUL animal print, summer dress!

FUN blue & white fabric and Memoirs of a Geisha DVD.

FOUR large, gold charger plates and a package of artist paintbrushes.

THREE boxes of these clear Christmas ornaments! When i was a craft manager, we would do demonstrations and one of them was filling these kinds of balls with acrylic paints and letting them swirl around & dry on the inside for very different and COOL effects.

This Spray dye kit, complete with the dye powders in bottles AND the shirt!!

This little, glass windchime and picket fence and bee in this plastic box bottom.

How FUN are these?!! they will make an AWESOME mosaic piece!!

This animal print fabric was a couple of yards. it would make a GREAT summer top, it is so light and silky.

This FUN sun bottle.

Although i am NOT sure what would be kept in the container (maybe glasses?) but the bowl is INCREDIBLE! we found bowls like these before but they were ALL plastic, this one is glass, well maybe ceramic but a WHOLE lot COOLER than the plastic ones!! lol

And last but not least, i also got this CUTE egg holder.

Then on the way home we stopped at ONE more yard sale, and picked up this cookie jar for just TWO dollars!!

we are not sure if we want to use it inside or out, it is that COOL! LOL
That is it except for DH taking a box of books to our local book exchange and got store credit for them, well, he came out with SIX more paperbacks!! lol so we ended up with MORE books! But he knows i LOVE The Cat Who series by Lilian Jackson Braun.
This Wednesday is the last Rock meeting for a couple of months (they take the summer months off) and hopefully DH is going to sign up for going to the next Rock Hunt dig! oh i HOPE he decides to go, the reason for not being sure is because it is going to be $75.00 fee PER PERSON!
But just look at where it will be!! Himalaya tourmaline mine dig
i am hoping to find out that they will either have a cheaper group rate or buy so many and one gets in free!!! but if only DH can go, i would still be happy! it must be absolutely AWESOME to find a REAL gemstone!! so far our excursions have been FUN but nothing like this, OBVIOUSLY since we hadn't had to pay anything yet! LOL

still more bargains!!

Hi again! i am back to share some more weekend bargains!
one dollar for these three leafy dishes

three for these EVER so soft, up to the elbow leather gloves!

we paid one dollar for each of these WONDERFUL glass flowers.

And this is what i do with them, since we don't have much in flowers.

we found an even FLATTER bottle for a dollar! but this one is meant to hang on the wall!


And the woman that was selling this BEAUTY told me she made it! i LOVE it and told her so and at three dollars i can really LOVE it! lol

can you believe just TWO dollars for these men's boots!?! we are probably going to make birdhouses out of them, a shame i know but still they were soo chea... um, inexpensive! :)

and then we saw this good sized picnic basket for just a dollar because her dog had gotten to the handle on one side but it is not broke thru! it's going to be just what we need for rock hounding again, when we have to pack a lunch... the one we took last time was a bit on the small side, so this one is MUCH better! :)

we found this bowl basket for a dollar too!

i am going to have to S-P-R-E-A-D this out YET another day because of the DEAL we got just today!! lol
i sure hope you hang in there with me and enjoy going shopping with me too! it was a bit on the windy side down town again but up here at home it was CRAZY winds again!!!

Another BEAUTIFUL swapmeet morning!

Hi again!! i hope you are all getting GREAT weather and sunshine!! There is ALOT going on this weekend With National Scrapbooking Day FUN!! i hope you are getting some time to enjoy it too!! :)
Me? i went to the swapmeet! lol No big surprise there, i know! hehe Well, the winds on this mountain, were crazy at 40-50 mph but alot milder down in town... thankfully! There was a Pet Fair going on, where they were adopting out pets of all kinds, and Tender Loving Christmas was selling donated items again, estate sales, yard and garage sales all over today.
We didn't do too well at the one yard sale and estate sale but did hit one good yard sale too!
But starting with the swapmeet, we got:
This chair throw, for a dollar.

Incense burner, for stick and cone, a dollar.

one dollar for this votive holding pig.

a fifty cent brass kitty.

one dollar for this backpack purse which is going to be GREAT for rock hounding. Sometimes we don't dig where the car is and may have to hike, this can hold the camera and waters and such.

This FUN fan basket for a dollar, DH picked this up, i was surprised! hehe

This WONDERFUL glass shoe that holds a votive.

one dollar for this sun dress (AND we got hangers, like two dozen for 50 cents!)

a maxi wrap skirt with this design at the bottom, another dollar! ( i am beginning to think it was dollar day there! lol)

50 cents for this AWESOME maxi robe!!

50 cents for this summer top.

two dollars for the diamond like earrings.

And just 50 cents for these green post earrings!

And this FANTASTIC shimmy type scarf for $5.00!! (i still do the workouts & LOVE Shimmy on FitTv so DH bought me a green one too!!)

my sweetie also bought a cute hummingbird feeder but has yet to put it together, it holds TWO bottles for sugar water, and it was just a buck too!
And of course there were puppies!! again, i didn't ask how much but heard the little brown ones were $200. bucks!! but they SURE were CUTE!!!



i hope you enjoyed this trip with me, as i sure enjoyed your company!! :) you know i will be back tomorrow with the yard sale goodies! :) We also went to the local plant nursery and i took some pretty cool photos there too! Yea, i take my camera just about EVERYWHERE! lol i can only imagine what people think when i am taking photos! lol oh well, i TAKE only photos and LEAVE only footprints! hehe Thank you so much for sharing this time!!
