First i want to say thanks for letting me know that last email is a hoax but still i am happy to post it, if it has a chance to save a life by making others a little more aware of such a thing even POSSIBLY happening! and we all know, ANYTHING is possible! but i am truly glad to know this one didn't really happen to ANY child! :D
Now i want to let you know that i found some REAL BARGAINS, if you like to buy kits VERYYYYY INEXPENSIVE!!!! i would NEVER consider calling a designer's works cheap, but at these prices it sure is hard! lol These kits are full kits and all soo LOVELY!! i hope you check them out for yourself and maybe pick up a BARGAIN! :D
GiselaB Designs
i have been working on a couple of new kits too! WOOHOO! i LOVE when the creativity flows!! lol look for me to share them soon!;)
and last, today, i wanted to pass this on:
John is the kind of guy you love to hate. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, 'If I were any better, I would be twins!'
He was a natural motivator.
If an employee was having a bad day, John was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation
Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up and asked him, 'I don't get it!
You can't be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?'
He replied, 'Each morning I wake up and say to myself, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or ... you can choose to be in a bad mood
I choose to be in a good mood.'
Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or...I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it.
Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or... I can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life.
'Yeah, right, it's not that easy,' I protested.
'Yes, it is,' he said. 'Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people affect your mood.
You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It's your choice how you live your life.'
I reflected on what he said. Soon hereafter, I left the Tower Industry to start my own business. We lost touch, but I often thought about him when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it.
Several years later, I heard that he was involved in a serious accident, falling some 60 feet from a communications tower.
After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, he was released from the hospital with rods placed in his back.
I saw him about six months after the accident.
When I asked him how he was, he replied, 'If I were any better, I'd be twins...Wanna see my scars?'
I declined to see his wounds, but I did ask him what had gone through his mind as the accident took place.
'The first thing that went through my mind was the well-being of my soon-to-be born daughter,' he replied. 'Then, as I lay on the ground, I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live or...I could choose to die. I chose to live.'
'Weren't you scared? Did you lose consciousness?' I asked
He continued, '..the paramedics were great.
They kept telling me I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the ER and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, I read 'he's a dead man'. I knew I needed to take action.'
'What did you do?' I asked.
'Well, there was a big burly nurse shouting questions at me,' said John. 'She asked if I was allergic to anything 'Yes, I replied.' The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep breath and yelled, 'Gravity'.'
Over their laughter, I told them, 'I am choosing to live. Operate on me as if I am alive, not dead.'
He lived, thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude... I learned from him that every day we have the choice to live fully.
Attitude, after all, is everything .
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.' Matthew 6:34.
After all today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.
Thank you so much for visiting and i hope you have a BEAUTIFUL day where ever you may be :D HUGS!

lost child
Wanted to share this email:
While shopping at
Sam's Club a mother was leaning over looking for meat and turned
around to find her 4 yr. old daughter was missing. I was standing
there right beside her, and she was calling her daughter with no
luck.
I asked a man who worked at Sam's to announce it over the loud
speaker for Katie. He did, and let me say he immediately walked
right past me when I asked and went to a pole where there was a
phone. He made an announcement for all the doors and gates
to be locked, a code something.
So they locked all the doors at once. This took all of 3 minutes
after I asked the guy to do this. They found the little girl 5
minutes later in a bathroom stall. Her head was half shaved, and
she was dressed in her underwear with a bag of clothes, a razor,
and wig sitting on the floor beside her to make her look different.
Whoever this person was, took the little girl, brought her into the
bathroom, shaved half her head, and undressed her in a matter of
less than 10 minutes.. This makes me shake to no end. Please
keep a close eye on your kids when in big places where it's easy for
you to get separated.
It only took a few minutes to do all of that-another 5 minutes and
she would have been out the door. I am still in shock that some
sick person could do this, let alone in a matter of minutes. The
days are over when our little ones could run rampant all over the
place and nothing would happen to them.
The little girl is fine. Thank God for fast workers who didn't take
any chances.
BE SURE TO FORWARD THIS TO EVERYONE, SO THEY KNOW JUST
HOW SICK PEOPLE ARE OUT THERE!!! (This happened at the Sam's
Wholesale Club in Omaha , Nebraska ..)
This message has been added to the story above:
I received this e-mail from one of my friends today. Let me first
tell you that I work at the Sam's club in Lincoln , NE. The code
that was spoken of is called a 'Code Adam'. It is named after John
Walsh's (host of Americas Most Wanted) son Adam who was
kidnapped and murdered many y ears ago. It is used in all Sam's
Clubs,Walmarts, and Wal-mart super centers to locate lost children.
This is how it works. If by some means you have been separated
with your child tell the nearest employee! The employee will page a
'Code Adam' (missing child in the store) over the intercom system
followed by a description of the child (height, weight, hair color,
age, name etc).
When that page goes out all the exits are immediately guarded,
and/or locked in some cases, also every employee will stop whatever
they are d oing no matter what it is and help look for the missing
child. This will continue until the child is found.
If the child is not found within a reasonable time then the police
are notified and the store will conduct an isle by isle search. So
if ever you are separated from your child now you know
what to do.
Missing children pictures hang by the exits of all Wal-mart and
Sam's Club stores, please take a few minutes to look these over as
you leave, you just might have seen one of the children
on them and
you might be the one to give their parents hope and give the police
a new lead in finding them.
Thank you.
Sincerely, Rudy Magee Sam's Club #6413
Even if you do not have little kids, pass this one on to everyone
you can think of. You never know who you might save by sharing this info!

Another Beautiful day in Paradise
Hi Ladies! How is your week going? i hope it's going well for you!
Yesterday DH dropped DS off at work and our ford explorer died! It took DH about 2 1/2 hours before he made it to work. Found out it was some wire that broke behind a plastic piece, so he didn't even see it! Costs about $40. for DH to have it found and fixed! Thankfully it was not too costly because he is having the brakes checked out today but this bill we EXPECTED! lol
We are still working on getting this house organized, not that it EVER was, but we DO keep trying. LOL
It all started with moving in that hutch! lol oh yes, i did mean to mention that it was found THROUGH the swapmeet, as a couple of vendors there have a shop elsewhere, where the hutch was. AND the guys were soo nice, after we told them about one we were going to get for $75.00, they said they had one and would match the price!!!! How cool is that!?!!! Thanks Rick and Dusty!! i really LOVE it and know that i will be switching up the things that i put in for display! lol That's probably half the fun! lol EVERYTHING i have in there (even my china!!) was bought at the swapmeet, CHEAP!! and i think it all looks sooooooooo pretty having a nice place to display them!
Last night, we went through a TON of books, which to keep and which to find a new home! lol My sister told me that my one niece donates them to the library and gets a tax write off for it!! That is something I would have NEVER thought, to donate to the Library?!! lol i would have thought they had enough and why would they want mine?! LOL Although i am not sure ALL the libraries do that, we are going to try! i HATE seeing a good book (and too many books are good!! lol) in the dump!! i have heard of Paperback swaps too that i will be looking into, if the library doesn't want our donation! We ALWAYS get our books for such a GREAT deal and have been accumulating quite a few!
Before i leave off here i want to share something i found cute and funny! i hope you do too! :D
Flour and Water
How come when you mix water and flour together you get glue?..
but
then you add eggs
and sugar... and you get cake?
Where did the glue go ?
NEED AN ANSWER?
You know darned well where it went!
That's what makes the cake stick to your BUTT
Now that you've smiled at least once, it's your turn to spread the silliness
We all need a good laugh, keep on smiling

Thank you so very much for visiting and i hope you have a WONDERFUL day!! HUGS!! :D

Hi, how is everyone today? all well, i hope!! everything here is still on hold, waiting for my hutch delivery! DH and i even picked up the bottom part, ourselves, so all they have to deliver is the top (heavier) part! lol Yes, i couldn't hardly wait and already have my china in the bottom half LOL Well, hopefully they will deliver this morning yet and i won't have to wait ALLLLLLLLL day, like i did yesterday. DH talked to the guy and he said he was calling all day and getting a wrong number, so we made sure he has the correct number and here i wait! sigh i do have a couple of numbers for him too and will start using them if it gets to noon today!! lol hey, a lady has to KNOW what's going on with her hutch, no? LOL
oh and one thing i did want to mention is that i PRAY no one was in any way offended with my Mrs. Butterworth bottles from my last post!! i thought they were so clever and artsy and after i posted, it hit me that they might be taken as offensive. if so, please forgive me, it sooo was NOT my intent!
Well, i did have time to play with a kit and hope you like & use it! :D

April Showers bring May flowers
Happy April! sorry for my absence but sometimes life has a way of getting in the way of my scrapping fun. LOL We have been extremely busy with getting this place organized somewhat! DH, DS & i moved out an old upright piano, WHAT A BACKBREAKER!! lol When we moved here, almost 4 years ago, we found an old piano, pool table, entertainment center and car ALL left behind and left on this property for the new tenant or the landlord to deal with. WELL, we got it all LOL and although the piano was in despereate need of a tuning, i still tried to LEARN on it! IMPOSSIBLE to do when it has dead keys on top of alll the out of tune ones! lol so there it sat for about 3 more years until this weekend!! DH bought me a sweet china hutch that is going in the piano's place! WOOHOO! the reason for the hutch, is because we bought my first set of REAL china about a year or two ago and i have NEVER had a place to put them! lol so i do NOW!!! well, as soon as it gets delivered, i will! LOL i can hardly wait! my china is white and green patterned and my new hutch is off white with light green trim! PERFECT! lol funny how patience pays off! lol We even offered the men who will deliver my new hutch, the old piano, FREE and they about told me what i could do with my piano LOL so i am really NOT sure what we can do with it yet! Anyone want it? ROFL YOU pay shipping! lol ok well, maybe that is not an option either!! lol
i hope April is being kind to you! For some, i know it is raining cats & dogs, for days on end! (Sorry sis but it will bring BEAUTIFUL flowers!!)
Does everyone know who Mrs. Butterworth is? The lady bottle of pancake syrup?!! well, check this out, she got a makeover! lol

someone did a FANTASTIC job painting them!! Even giving two of them a collar brooch! lol i couldn't resist them! All three for a dollar and i was told the guy, i guess who did the painting, was asking like $65.00 for the set! crazy!!
i have soo much more to do yet today but i will leave you with some desert pictures i took this weekend!
