Just in time...

Hi everyone! and i am just in time for the 4th of July! lol i hope you have checked out the awesome awesome video in my previous post. It truly is inspiring & very touching!!
ok, i hear you lol i take off for a week or so and then expect to come on and blather away! lol You want freebies! Well, as i was saying, just in time for the Fourth! i played around with stars, because you are ALLLLLL STARSSS to me :D
So in today's freebie, you will get stars and star garlands! or as we may call them, borders lol but you do NOT get the background paper OR the shadows, they are just for the preview! oh yea, and i tried my hand at some fireworks, if ya do not like them, please feel free to scrap them, and i dont mean make a layout LOL but if ya do like them, i would LOVVE to see what you do with them!

i finally got a link!! YAY!!! boy oh boy, it's not just computer troubles here still, my broadband has been AWFUL so my apologies for the delay in getting this link up but, i kid you NOT... Here It Is!!! YAHOOO!!! lol i do hope you enjoy them, they are my real flowers that i took pictures of. I bought them in planters, maybe next year i can say i grew them ;)

My son went on the new computer last nite and worked it finally to see what he can and cannot do on it... i don't think he really believed me because when he got on, he complained a few times with a chuckle about this or that! Amazing to me, how they can put something out on the market WITHOUT choice when there seemed to be no complaints i knew of about windows xp (shrugs) oh well! lesson learned lol but like DH says," i think at some point we may have to learn Vista if there will be NO choice on the matter, in the future." so true, so true! My main complaint with it was when i went and installed my programs and wennt to add the filters, it was only giving me the option of putting my one filter in psp when i had just installed the other filter in cs2, where i wanted this one!!lol i won't get into the complexity of it all but it was/is frustrating when i cannot get the computer to work for me, instead its got me really WORKING... its way, instead of mine!! So much to learn!! lol
Otherwise, things here are heating up and we are really thinking of getting a nice sized pool... yay! DS said he would go in half and i am getting a little tired of the three footers lol time to go another foot LOL What will be nice is the filter system that comes with the bigger pool and a pool cover... i think ya definitely need a pool cover..out here, if we leave the pool filled overnight, it is just so full of bugs! yuck!! lol
oh and last night DH's son called and he and his wife are planning a trip out here from Minnesota! maybe we can have the pool by then, oh that would be so nice :)
We still have so much work we want done on this little place, to make it really ours, but we are getting there... slowly... but as they say, all good things take time! lol
So i hope your summer is starting off wonderful, where you are, too!
Enjoy the flowers, and when you do something with them, i would LOVE to see it. i have yet to see something i made and shared here, come back with love... i see it in the two forums i visit, and i LOVE it when i see layouts with my kits and elements! it is such a lift when people enjoy what i share! so i look forward to some love back too! :D

i have still been working on the new puter, trying anyway... i am not sure if it is vista or not but it sure isnt user friendly and i am still deciding if i want to take my son's more familiar puter or just muddle thru it and keep it!
on top of the computer, we are still working on when a good time for DH to go back east and get the stuff out of storage.. and still we are waiting on our explorer's return! (sigh) so it has been a bit challenging and certainly working on my patience :)
other than that, nothing much else is going on but i do have a freebie :)

How is your hump day of the week, going? lol oh and do ya like the changes here? Kind of plain but bigger print! lol i kind of like it better but will be working on it more i think :)
It's another WINDY day in the desert but this one started out a bit chilly this morning, strange, considering it IS June. Otherwise there absolutely nothing new going on here.
i have read a few blogs and am truly sorry for their losses! here is a blinkie for one i read, truly sad! But if you click the blinkie,look for section in their store called FRIENDS AND FAMILY all proceeds go to Carla's family.

My thoughts and prayers are with all your families!
Life IS precious and it just isn't to too many. I don't get out often but when i do, i share my light with others freely! Often telling many 'I (or We, as in hubby & i) love you' and always with hugs! It not only makes others days but it gives me a lift too! :)
Pay it forward or light someone's light, any way YOU can! Make someone's day or make them smile! You will feel GREAT! :D oh and i would LOVE to hear about it! hehe
