Work, work, work!

Most of my time spent with the computer lately seems to be with organizing my cd's (finally lol) what a job tho!! sheesh! And then i find some of the files copied onto the new puter are empty but when i put those same cd's into my son's puter, there the files are! sigh! time to check our settings again i guess!
Sometimes i dont feel like i will ever get it done and caught up with myself lol
And then there is the time i am TRYING to NOT download for 24 hrs so my stupid satelite internet broadband have time enough to reset! and let me tell ya, it has been TOUGH to NOT go get those downloads out there lol!! so hard that i caught myself getting about 4 megs total after the second download this morning and had to stop myself LOL ... Not too addicting, this stuff they call digi scrappin'! lol
anyways, i havent forgotten anyone, nor do i hope to be forgotten, so i thought i'd pop in and say hi! just been crazy week!

Also this weekend i got lucky! lol i wasnt referring to THAT!! lol i mean i found a deal on books and got 3... one was Anne Geddes Down in the Garden book!
and OH MY GOODNESS if you havent seen this book, it is a MUST! it is FULL of the most incredible baby photos like on the cover!! a few double page fold outs too!!

the other books i picked up ( 3 for $5.00) were Suzanne Somers "The Sexy Years" and
Memory Makers "Scrapbooking Your Favorite Family Memories". This one is over 500 pages and FULL of ideas and patterns!
ALL WONDERFUL books and what a deal!!!!

The layout is of Donna Wheway (owner of Moo2, link found on lower left of my page) and me when we met in Vegas last month!! that was AWESOME too! We only had a few hours to share since traffic getting there was horrendous but oh what a time we had!
We enjoyed brunch as we got to know each other and then off to Siegfried's Secret Garden!

Bad blogger but been busy :)

again i have neglected my poor blog but with very good reason :) we have been real busy around the house before it gets too hot! DH closed in the carport, which we really didnt use for the car lol and put up lattice work and i am totally LOVING the results!

now we have quite a bit of painting to do, probably white to match with the gate not real sure at this point.

we have also been reorganizing the inside and sheds too, getting ready for DH to go back east to get our stuff out of storage, finally!! we have hoped for this month but it looks more like next month which still isn't too hot back there to empty the storage bins! oh it will be WONDERFUL to not pay THAT monthly bill! and since we have lived here about 3 years already, there will be MUCH that we can sell!
i am soooo ready for this, it's time! Actually i will be soo happy when DH is back home safe & sound! :)
Other than that, not too much else is going on... oh well, the new puter well, i have been STILL using DS's puter ( really am upset about HAVING no choice in that vista thing ! ) but it will come to a point of using it when i GET MY CD's ORGANIZED!! lol what we've decided would be the best, in my case, is to upload everything to the new puter, get it all in the organized files, burn off and make a master list yes it's going to be a real pain.. but there is so much i WON'T be using so i dont need to copy it, there are soo many duplicates ( Bless my DH he really tries to get EVERYTHING, so much so, he re burns much LOL) then there are things like my kits, i would like all together, and so since i cannot think of a better way to do this, it's going to take time! but to get it done right will be worth it all! Being able to FIND what i KNOW i have, will be priceless! lol
oh well, enough rambling today i suppose and off to get something done lol

Terrible blogger & brief movie review

it just dawned on me as, tho i blog hop daily now i havent been blogging! believe me i have just been taking it easy after all we been thru lol... it didnt end there but i wont bring your day down with sharing my sad stories anymore...that's not too cool :)
you sure dont visit to hear me complain lol oh well, i am certainly glad it is spring but the winds are still blowing strong here (gusts up to 60 mph)and its still pretty cool. we did have some warm days over the weekend but then it cooled down again so DH has been putting trellis (lattice) work around our carport so we have a nice spot to enjoy. when its done i will share pix :) it looks wonderful already though and should cut down on some of that wind!!
i chatted with an online friend yesterday and it was so nice to hear a voice lol thanks for calling it was truly fun!!
ok ok, onto the movie we rented this weekend :) DEJA VU was INCREDIBLE!!! cant really tell ya much about it without giving too much away but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! it was entertaining and a little confusing but not enough to make it unenjoyable and then it allllll makes sense in the end! very cool twist on technology of science :)
well, i am off to have some lunch and then clean a litter box (yay!!! huh? lol) i will be still taking it a bit easy til i get rid of my cough but the cold i had is long gone, thankfully! i hope you have a beautiful day where you are!
