OOPS! i did it again!

After not having time on a computer for so long, i actually surfed the web and did a little blog hopping and EVEN
commented a few places! you know, just starting to get back into the swing of it all and it happened!!
i crashed the internet!! if you have followed this blog at all, you might remember that we use HughesNet satelite
internet and we pay quite an amount monthly for a certain amount of usage!!! You guessed it, i went over the limit yet
again!! Unbelievable! i so look forward to moving to a place where we don't have to depend on satelite, especially
HughesNet and have actual choices again!! oh don't get me wrong about this service, i surely appreciate it...when it
works, that is!! and i cannot really imagine how i went over since i didn't go to anywhere that had an over
abundance of other stuff on their sites, like blinkies, well i don't even know how i went over the 300 some megs we are
allowed to download. and believe it or not, everytime you open a site, you ARE downloading everything there!! i guess,
i didn't know that...do now and really avoid places that take long to view... i just don't know {sigh}. but it sure
is nice to have a new computer to work with and get organized on...that's what i did after the internet stopped
working yesterday! hehe make due with what i can. :)
i still have to do some picture uploading because i certainly have a ton still to share but it's GREAT to be back!
Even my hubby blogged once, this year already, on his blog. (first link in my fav. places, bottom of page in sidebar.)
Yesterday we even sucessfully installed one of my photoshop program, want to install PSP (still learning it) and
CS2 again, then i will feel back in business! hehe
Almost two years ago now, or more, my son and hubby bought me the Cricut machine and although i did get to play with
it a bit, it got packed up for the holidays and i haven't had it back out yet, so we have been making a place for me
to work with that and between that and digital scrapbooking (that can be printed) i am REALLY looking forward to some
card making. i would REALLY REALLY love to print out my layouts for a book but then i would need a 12x12 printer...
maybe when this one breaks down. hehe
A few years back, i handmade some cards with spirella and iris folds, Photobucket
and they were a HUGE hit with people that saw them and besides it was tons of fun to make them. Some with sentimental
sayings, some blank. It'll be fun getting back into it with some of the Commercial use stuff this time.
well, i am off and thank you for visiting and will see you again! Have a GREAT day!

Hi Shirley,

Oh wow, I did not realize this about your internet service. I guess we take it for granted here.

So nice to see you back, love your cards they are so creative. I may have to try this technique.

I'll have to send you some of my kits to get you up and running!

Love, Barb

Hi :) Thanks for all the nice comments! I too go thru dry blogging spells, obviously. I have 3 blogs on the go now, so they all get turns of my creative attention. Lovely cards too.
I get the "cooped up" feeling too. Not only has the cold kept me indoors but I'm also pregnant and morning sickness has prevented me from leaving the house before noon since OCTOBER :( Plus, not much work up north here for DH has made us pinch our pennies pretty good this winter. Looking forward to moving back to southern BC, hopefully by Fall.
