i am happy to announce that we did NOT get any snow, last week, as we were told to expect! i am soo glad about it, too, cause that was a doctor appointment day, for me! hehe
And, since much of Southern California felt it, i want to say, we didn't. Yes, i am talking of the 7.2 earthquake in Mexico. i believe, we didn't feel it, because we are on a different fault line and i am so HAPPY when we don't feel them. i am terrified to feel my first one yet.
Onto the bargains, eh? lol
well, since my computer troubles, i have become so far behind in sharing these bargains because there are weeks that we do get so many AWESOME deals. this weekend was no exception! :D
Some of these deals were from the swapmeet and some from some pretty GREAT yard/garage sales, like this necklace and bracelet cuff were part of a two dollar bag!!
as were these THREE sets of Avon earrings.
And here is the rest of that two dollar lot!
The next three necklaces were only 50 cents each!!
this one just might be taken apart to become silver trays in the dollhouse! hehe
i like the way this one was gathered in the center to hang so nice.
and i just LOVE these that look so light and delicate while wearing!!
this whole stone set of dominoes, was only FIFTY cents!! unbelievable!!!
this book on miniatures, was only $3.00!
as was this rather large cigar box that is in GREAT shape!!
This beaded curtain was only a buck!!
This skein of yarn/fun fibers would have been a dollar but became free when the vendor needed bags and i gave her ours (we have learned to carry our own since so many vendors either run out or just plain forget to bring them).
This little tree type thing was a couple of dollars but i thought it was so unusually cool! :D
This next photo, was part of a twenty dollar lot that DH got from a yard sale and he got other things as well.
This witch was part of that deal too!! she has a place in bag to put a lightbulb so the 'crystal ball' lights up! hehe clever!!
i was shocked to see this 3' unit, for only a couple of dollars!!
This next little unit was a bit pricey at $15.00 but is sooooo helpful in organizing some of this dollhouse stuff!
i came across a quart-sized bag of dollhouse things for only $2.00!
i have a large (about 18" high) one of these that i used for displaying earrings when we sold... now i have a small one too! this one is about 6 inches and was only a buck!! i LOVE it!
This little guy was a deal for only 50 cents! he sits about a foot high and even has pottery urns on both sides of him! :D And i LOVE his colors!!
And lastly, is this COOL stone candlestick holder that i found for $3.00!
You know, i still have more to share but have to get them uploaded! hehe
As for the dollhouse, well, i got another rug completed.
The floor and baseboards are done in one bedroom.
the carpet is actually a bumpy shelf liner! lol
the 'stonework' is getting there nicely!!
the bathroom floor is laid!
and finally, here is my sad little attempt at a miniature purse! hehe
i sure hope you enjoyed today's post because i sure enjoy sharing with you!! big HUGS!! Have an AWESOME day & come back soon!

OMG that teeny purse!!! I should have KNOWN a miniature purse would get made sooner or later! Now, where's the rest of them??? lol you must have a million, so get busy making dollhouse versions of them all!!!
I love all the stuff you got. The pewter things your hubby got are really awesome. But I'll tell you, that multi-drawer organizer may have been pricey, but you will LOVE IT!!! No more lost items!!!
Good morning Shirley:)
Wow..you have been busy since I was here last.:) I LOVE what you and DH have done with the dollhouse. How FUN!! It's really starting to look like a home.:) Oh..and your doll house bargains...I would love to have been a fly on the wall when you found those.I bet you lit up the whole place with your smile.:)Soo COOL!! How did they know you were looking for those?:)
I know you will like the multi drawer thingy..I have one but it's a little larger.Double the width.I keep my stereo on it and the cassette tapes..etc in the drawers.:)My niece had it for her scrapbooking and gave it to my Mom when she went to college. Then Mom gave it to me when she was making room for stuff in her office.I LOVE bargains too!!hehe
Mom and I went thrift storing the other day after her Dr's visit and I was looking for a mixer bowl.Mine broke last week and I have a shower cake my Niece asked me to make for this Saturday. It's a whole lot easier making icing when you have an automatic mixer and don't have to stand there holding the hand held ones..KWIM?:) They didn't have one at the thrift stores I tried.Any other time they would.LOL
Thank you so much for stopping by.I get side tracked and need a nudge once in a while.:)Soo glad you came and let me know you had posted again.:)I need all the help I can get.LOL
Have a wonderful day!!
Hugs,
Valinda
