This weekend was so nice that DH decided to sell at the swapmeet on Saturday morning, so i stayed home. He did pick me up a little something and we bought a few more on Sunday. YAY! hehe
on Saturday, DH had a friend watch his stuff while he checked out the tailgater's end and i am GLAD he did! He found this little treasure.
An abalone thimble with Mother of pearl flower!!
And then Sunday, we found:
i LOVE blue glass and could hardly resist this little fish bottle!
Books are hard to resist when they are only fifty cents!! lol
i bought all these items for about $2.00 to use in the dollhouse.
and my final purchase was this little onyx donkey on a cube pedestal.
i really am amazed at the bargains we do find there!! i LOVE that place!! lol
On to the dollhouse! here are two rooms that DH finished for me. YAY!! lol
i already painted the ceiling and applied the wallpaper in the bedroom, so i put some items in to PLAY!! lol
i have to laugh at the spice box that represents a chest of drawers! lol
i figure the bottom room will be a dining room and the top room is a bedroom.
The house we decided on, is found on the web and has about 7 rooms with three of the rooms having an addition to make them bigger.

and just recently i came across a much cuter house,with all the gingerbread trimmings! i see a second house in the future! hehe
Anyways, i did get a good shot of my "faberge egg". i like it! :)
i think i may have to make it even fancier! lol it is so much fun!!
Remember that spice box?
Yep!! i sure did! lol i painted it and glued on construction paper "drawers" with beads as the 'knobs'!! And i change the room again!! lol i LOVE playing!
i even made a mattress and pillows!
These little pewter rams were glued in different geodes i bought from the swapmeet. i took them out immediately and knew i would need them someday! hehe maybe they will become bookends or maybe even sculptures! lol
i came across some plastic plates and trays and think this will look LOVELy on a dresser someday soon! :D
Since i still have to paint the dining room ceiling, i made these to help me! hehe
As you can see here, my quilled pieces are a different scale.
maybe some of the tables can stay in this dollhouse.
Yep!! that is a small crystal formation for the dollhouse! LOL
And it is a good thing that we got the 'litter box' ready!

It looks like you are having a blast making all those lovely miniatures for your COOL doll house.:) I LOVE your little kitty and the litter box.I laughed out loud when I saw that.hehe I can remember having fun when Christy was smaller and making Barbie doll beds and furniture and crocheting clothes for them.:)It's such fun seeing what you can come up with!!
Your DH did a great job on the house and your wallpaper looks so pretty.:) LOVE your paint bucket and tray.LOL Gotta have those around!!
Oh..that Vista Internet Security 2010 came up on mine too.How RUDE!! I don't think I dwnlded it though.You really have to be careful these days..even Norton anti virus has one.It's an update.I have had it two or three times cause I forget..it looks so professional.Best thing to do in these cases is to go to the main site and do the dwnlds from there.:)
