Rock hunting and bargains of course!

Good day to you! sorry i haven't been around but we had some very nice weather and on Friday, DH & i went rock hunting locally for green marble... low grade quality but still very pretty. and then on Sunday, with the continued AWESOME weather, we got together with a couple and went rock hunting again! This time we looked for epidote and garnet and found BOTH! i LOVE rock hounding!! hehe

Anyways, onto some bargains! WOHOO!!
We recently found a decent yard sale and got these items:
this little coat was only a buck but Coco doesn't like it too much yet! but does he look ADORABLE in it! lol

this fifty cent jar looks like the one i filled with Christmas decorations and will look so FUN together.

we still haven't bought any C batteries but this will be a GREAT way to save money AND have FUN doing it! And it was only a buck!! hehe

And finally in the lot we bought from the yard sale, is this little snowman for fifty cents!! it is identical to the one we recently bought and enjoyed this past Christmas! it will look so CUTE in any other room!

We like to buy geodes and rocks from our new club member who sells at the swapmeet.

the geode looks to me like a blue lace agate and the smaller stone is chrysocolla, which is the "poor man's torquoise".
for a buck we recently found these old papers that will be GREAT for crafting! :)

OMG the sundress and the watch with the beaded band!!! What bargains!

I love all of them! I don't know what is wrong with Midland, I guess because it's just too new of a city, but gosh, the yard sales are terrible. Just extremely recent stuff and way too much kitchen stuff...BAD kitchen stuff...like endless boxes of those little things that supposedly make a ravioli (but don't really work at all)...

You did great, tho, including the rock hunting! I love garnet, it's my birthstone, too...
