i was really surprised at how well we can see them in this picture considering the camera we use. lol i understand this won't happen again, in my lifetime, so i was glad we did see it.
Well, i am finished with another book, this one was called "66 Days Adrift". A true story about a couple who's boat sank and they were adrift for 66 days. Incredible story!!
i am also reading "Dangerous Waters " about piracy on the open seas that still goes on strong today! And i am almost done with a book called "California Fault". This book has been fun to read as the author travels the California faultline and shares stories of the people and places he encounters and it has not been very flattering to Californians but oh soo fun to read. And according to the book map, Landers (my town) is smack dab on the fault. (gulp!!)
oh and did you see in the news recently about the Space Shuttle being diverted to land in California instead of Florida? well, we didn't see it or even know it was landing but we were ALL home and the house did give a wierd shake (while others heard a sonic boom). We, at the time, did not know what made the house shake but soon figured it must have been the shuttle landing. lol cool, huh?
oh and one last thing before i am off to visit you, yesterday i posted pictures of a (what i believe to be) kitchen item and was asked how big it is.... good question!! lol it measures about 5 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches. Thanks for asking Bunny!!!!
ok now i am off. Thank you soo very much for visiting and i hope you have a BEAUTIFUL day!! :D

That book 66 days sounds really interesting. I´ll have to go online to order it. I love reading "real life" storys!
You live dangerously...virtually on the edge!
Hi Shirley - you're like me and read multi-books at a time. I'd love to see you get a Shelfari Shelf for your own blog - ever thought about it? To check it, just look for the link above mine on my blog. Its a great way of keeping track of what you've read, want to read and even do reviews.
I've not heard of these books, thanks for enlightening me.
You are such an encouragement, Shirley, thank you.
My daddy said tell you he thinks it is the bottom of a meat tenderizer. You just lay the steak on it and hit it with a meat mallet. hmmmm....
I say its a peanut butter cookie groover... ooooo or a Barbie wash board.
