Since I didn't have the sound effects, I thought I would make do through type LOL Hope it wasn't TOOO scary for ya! hehe
Well, today is the big day! I sure use to look forward to this day, even as recent as just a year or so ago! lol Oh the decorating can be soo much fun! We have cut back on that since having so many animals but I hope you are going to have a SPOOKTACULAR day! Please be safe tonite, as you drive, with so many scary little ones out there.

Do you dress up to answer the door? Do you go to events such as hayrides or parties? Do your neighbors BOO you? lol I would LOVE to know how you celebrate Halloween in your area, or even if you do at all?
When I was a kid, our parents or older siblings would pass out candy at home with a few decorations on the porch and they NEVER dressed to pass the candy out, as us younger kids would go door to door amassing our goodies!! Such a different time it was then, soo safe and innocent! We went to barn parties all decorated with hay bales and pumpkins with hayrides and bonfires!! OHHH the memories! :D And then we would come home so tired and weary from trying to hit ALL the nearby neighborhoods as well and after returning back home we'd empty our bag on the table for 'inspection' LOL Back in those days, I really think there was little need for such close examination so once in a while I would catch Mom or Dad popping something in their mouth! "HEYYYY what's that you're eating??" lol But there was certainly ALWAYS more than enough to share! Then as my kids grew, an adult would have to take the kids around the neighborhood and the inspections of candy became more real and taken TONS more serious. Sometimes, I would have a friend take my boys out so I could dress up and pass out the candy! hehe

Yes I agree with Jean, quite a walk down memory lane! I remember them good old days too, too bad there are so many crazyies out there! We decorate, play spooky music and swing open the door when the kids come...scare them more than they scare us. We have one of those innercom things where when they ring the bell we can answer in the house and go...BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Scares some of them right off the door step... Hope you had a good one, we only had about 30 kids and DH took it easy, so feeling better now! Going to clean house today, will leave halloween decos up till kids come tomorrow, then they can take them down on Saturday :)
