Well, i hope everyone had a safe long weekend, if you were lucky enough!! DH only had off on Wednesday, then the normal Sat. & Sun off, and he's back to work today again! No long weekend for us lol.
DS is starting to plan his trip to visit a friend up north, next month... for his birthday, AGAIN! (sigh) oh well, that's only two birthdays,(he went last year too!) out of what will then be 23, that i miss, and that's still not too bad, HE IS growing up afterall, i should be expecting to NOT spend ALOT more birthdays with him, soon, i guess. oh the groans of parenting lol... i haven't shared a birthday with my older son, since he was 17 or 18,that's when he left for the service and ventured the world! Now he lives in NY, yes and me on the west coast lol thank goodness for Instant Messaging :D
as for DH's trip to chicago, well that has still been put on hold, it's amazing, just as he started to plan going, just how much stuff went on to keep him here, God must have been saying something to him and i am hoping he is listening... must be, cuz he has not gone yet lol... oh i pray the time is RIGHT soon tho! i am not sure who holds more pressure on their shoulders, till this stuff is HERE finally, him or me! i just know WE BOTH are not really looking forward to this and it would be AWESOME to have it be just once and done. He has been preparing me for the possibility of leaving some stuff behind in a much smaller storage bin & bill. i would really rather we just get it all, or if we have to leave stuff behind, i dont want to be worrying about more storage time, i would rather take it to the dump or something (sigh) 3-4 years of paying them is enough for me! But in this house, he rules the roost, when all is said and discussed between us, the final decision is always his :)
i am still working between the two computers here lol but have pretty much resigned myself to DS's (darned vista crap lol) i am almost done organizing all the files i have collected too, sheesh what a project! i got a bit sidetracked from my duties, with that pool! Since it's the first time DH and i have ever had one that size, we are really enjoying it! Still trying to figure out the chemical balance but have kept it really pretty clean so far and am soo glad it's not too hard to keep balanced and clean! i was a bit worried about it filling up with bugs out here and even that has not been a problem! Surprisingly enough, the daytime is too hot for much anything to be out there and when the bugs do come out later, we put on the pool cover! i guess the people who told us about the finding dead bats in theirs, didnt use a cover, i don't know! lol We are still very careful to watch for snakes, scorpions, spiders and all that scary stuff on our way to & from the pool, which isn't too far from the back door! NNICE!!(doing my best Borat impression) lol
oh well, i guess i have gone on long enough! time to blog hop and see what you are all up to! lol

When we lived across from Michaels Restranut at 662 & 422 we had a small pool years ago with a little filter and all I ever put in it was bleach and never had aany problems with it except a few bugs but that was quite awhile aga and I would buy bleach by the case at Shop Rite when they had a sale on it!!! LOL
Not much going on I keep getting knocked off the computer and hopefully they be out in the next couple of days to check the wiring!!!
Its a big pain having to restart the cable modem all the time!!

OMG!! i remember eating at Michaels Rest. OFTEN! lol funny thing is, we MAY have passed each other sometime lol... i may have to give that bleach a try, since we can't seem to get the chlorine level higher for some reason :D thanks for the tip! Have a WONDERFUL day and stay dry!!!
Hi Shirley - sounds like you have been busy - nice to see you blogging more often too! Michaele set up my blog if ya want to stop by just click on my name that shows up here and it will take ya to it. Kinda boring right now, but Im just trying to get into it too.
I know what ya mean about birthdays - we try very hard to be with the girls on theirs (think girls are alot different than boys - who could care less huh!)
Today is GD Kori's 4th bday, then on Sunday her dads, then Monday her sister Kay will be 13, talk about missing that baby smell, I know exactly what ya mean - I have some Johnson and Johnsons baby lotion that I keep in the bathroom, sometimes I used it for hand lotion -lol but it does the trick for the yearning :)
Hope you get back to get your stuff soon, can you donate what you dont want to bring back - at least you could get the Charitable donation write off?? just a thought. Were you able to get your new little car up and running again, sure hope so. Well, I'll run up to the next post and drop a note there too - since I am not doing too good with the pm's or emails.
