Passing of a friend

Yesterday we spent the day, about 3hours away, at a Celebration of Life for a dear friend of DH. was verry strange to try celebrate her life when she is sooo missed, but the event went nicely. sooo many people, from so many different walks of life were there, she sure had ALOT of passions and was into soo many different things.
she was into stained glass, celtic & folk music, was a library volunteer, had a scrabble club, story telling club, had a girls poker club, worked at LA Times, ran her own almond business... oh i am sure i am leaving SOMETHING out lol
i do think i will try to design a kit in her honor :)
Chris, my friend, you are missed!!!

Sorry to hear about your friend!
A kit to honor her would be a awesome gift in remberance of her!

I'm eventually going to do one for my husband.
Since he had a Fireman's funeral, which was huge and a firefighter from another company took loads of pisture's and gave them to us.
Paper article's from his funeral and the National Firefighter's Memorial which is held in Maryland every year but it was held in Washington DC in 2002 because of all the firefighter's that died in 911.
Plus stuff from The Gift of Life when we were honored at a Reading Phillies baseball game.
I've found and bought some firefighting kit's but the only thing is that they make all the kit's with RED firetruck's when our's are Chrome Yellow like a school bus! There are alot of Fire trucks that are different color's not red!
Since I retired from the Fire Co I miss not running with them but not going out in the cold weather! LOL
They still want let me retire from the Board of Director's which I've been on for 15 years now!
I still have my scanner so I can hear when they have a call and since my oldest son is 2nd Assistant Chief !
